« Excellent location in the village of Bucknell , close to numerous walks. »

« The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again. »

« The rooms were immaculate and even had a a book in there explaining the history behind the building which was really interesting. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great all for good pricing. The area is very quiet but there’s plenty of places to go that’s within walking distance or 5-10 minutes in the car but it truly is set out as the Victorian/Tudor era. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Overall amazing stay and would definitely come again! »

The house is fantastic, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious, with everything we could possibly need. « The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. »
