The property itself was beautiful, but it is located in a very rural area far from the main road sitting steps away from the street. About three hours after arriving, we were told to leave because we had a dog, which I wasn't aware of; I would've respected the rules had I known. Subsequently, I learned that the no-pet policy was not clearly disclosed as it was buried in a less visible section. Surprisingly, it was in the amenity section rather than the main description. While, I did not speak directly with the homeowners, the representative who called us was very rude and unprofessional. However, I respectfully offered to leave in the wee hours of the night. I felt my every move was being observed with a watchful eye, which was very uncomfortable and unsafe. Customer service is paramount, and this situation could have been addressed in a dignified way. People make mistakes every day; therefore, Grace would've been appreciated, especially when the guest is respectful, cooperative, and apologetic.
