« We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there »

« We stayed at the Chalet by the Sea with my family. This is a large house over looking a beautiful protected lagoon. We were unable to enjoy the outside features because of rain, but could see wildlife in the lagoon from inside the house. I wish we could have stayed longer. It is a beautiful place to stay. »

« The house was very nicely finished and the location was amazing! Our host was very accommodating when we got in a bind with a cancelled flight. We were in Kodiak on business so we didn't have much time to explore but would love to come back and stay here again and take a fishing trip and sightseeing tour with Rick and Hope! »

Best stocked kitchen ever, every spice, cooking and baking gadget you can image...mixers, blenders etc. I used to run 5 of these and this place rivalled my best home for kitchen items. « Lovely stay at Flying Bear.The two story townhouse was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay.Host was attentive and responded quickly to questions.It’s about a mile out of town, good walk on a nice day, but about 10 taxi on rainy days. Don’t use Uber or Lyft on the island, easily 3x more expensive than an old-fashioned cab.Recommend! »
