    Start your South Shore morning with a short walk to the beach from this fully renovated Prince Kuhio studio in Poipu. Sleeping two, it is designed for a couple who wants a comfortable place to come back to after snorkeling, beach walks, or a slow lunch nearby. The sleek kitchen has granite counters, new appliances, and custom cabinetry, while a California king bed and custom marble shower make the private space feel considered rather than cramped. Cool down with split-system split air conditioning, take a dip in the shared pool, or use the BBQ for an easy dinner. Coin laundry on-site lets you pack a little lighter. Poipu Beach Park and the neighborhood's restaurants, shops, and golf are close by. It is a polished, practical retreat for two people who want Poipu's sunshine and beach time close at hand.



    The Space:

    This renovated studio is set up for two, with a California king bed, a custom marble shower, and a sleek kitchen with granite counters, new appliances, and custom cabinetry. Tile flooring and split-system split air conditioning keep the room comfortable, while the lanai looks into tropical landscaping. Coin laundry on-site makes a light-packing beach trip much easier.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Prince Kuhio can use the shared pool and beautifully kept grounds just steps from the beach in Poipu. A private entrance and on site parking make arrival easy, and the property's laundromat and BBQ area round out a comfortable stay.



    The Neighborhood:

    Prince Kuhio is in the heart of Poipu, near the preserved birthplace of Prince Kuhio and a short walk from Poipu Beach Park. Spend time in the swimming coves, snorkel when conditions allow, or look for monk seals along the shore. Poipu Shopping Village offers restaurants and shops nearby, while Shipwreck Beach adds a dramatic coastline option. It is a sunny, walkable part of Kauai for couples who want the beach to be part of each day.



    Getting Around:

    Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.

Check-in was extremely easy. The condo had everything we could possibly need! The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we need for two weeks day being on the second floor, we had one wall of windows that looked out into the garden. Made the place seems so much bigger! We absolutely loved the location too.

The room was nice with a comfortable bed, nice shower, lux towels, beach chairs and towels; everything needed for a great stay. The resort location is good; just a few minutes drive from Poipu and Koloa town. A couple minutes walk to the ocean and small beach. If the resort had an ocean view it would be a 10. Overall, a good choice.

Great location. Had all of the amenities for a great trip. Beach chairs, beach towels and small cooler to enjoy a beach day or sunset. Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Quick/easy walk to baby beach with green sea turtles basking on the sand and great snorkeling on a quiet/secluded beach! We will be back! Thank you for an amazing stay

Perfect Place to Stay

We loved the location. The best Snorkeling on the island was right across the street. In the evening we sat by the pool which was well maintained and clean. The room was spotless and had all the basic amenities you might need. We highly recommend this property!

Everything you need for making memories on Kauai

This place is an ideal example of simple beauty, with everything you need, and nothing you don’t! Our stay here provided a central point to explore all we hoped to do on the island, and a respite for the end of the day with excellent air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen and super comfortable king size bed. So close to the beach, we walked there in a couple of minutes! When the beach was crowded, the pool was waiting… with cool water and calm ambience. The hosts are extremely helpful and kind…I am already planning when to stay here again.

Great Studio

This was a great studio!! The kitchen was fully stocked, bed was very comfortable and a nice small balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning. Enjoyed walking across the street to the Beach House lawn area in evenings for beautiful sunsets. Nice sandy beaches within 5 minute drive and saw turtles and monk seals on beach!!! Highly recommend!!

Most Enjoyable Getaway!

Absolutely a GEM! Perfect for a single getaway or a couple! Easy access to stores, both grocery and other. Perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate. Accommodations are clean, cozy and very comfortable. Pool is lovely. If you’re looking for a quiet, restorative getaway this is the place. If you want a little more action you can walk across the street to the Beach House restaurant or drive a few mins to other restaurants and beaches. I will definitely returning for another visit and will be recommending this property to friends and family.

Perfect spot!

My husband and I did a spur of the moment trip to Kauai and were blessed to snag this place. We were sweetly greeted with traditional Hawaiian chocolates and cookies. Our room and location were perfect! The entire place was new and shiny and set up nicely for hanging out with plenty of space. We loved the cozy chairs to relax with a drink, patio set to enjoy the birds and coffee in the morning and the other table and chairs to do a little work…the owners thought this out! One of the best things about this place is the privacy and how quiet it is. The unit is on the 2nd level and the beautiful Hawaiian landscape fills the grounds outside the patio …so not only do you have a gorgeous view, it feels peaceful and private. The pool was a wonderful treat to cool off in and chat with some of the other guests. The owners provide beach chairs which were perfect to take across the street to enjoy the beach and the grassy area in front of the Beachhouse restaurant…we spent a lot of time over there watching the surfers, enjoying the best sunsets and snorkeling- some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done! It is also located in a great spot to walk to the Kukui‘ula village which offers a ton of yummy food and treats and shopping. Living Foods, Eating House and Uncle’s shaved ice were are favorites. Holoholo grill, a little further down the way, had awesome breakfast and people watching! You can’t go wrong staying here and would 100% return. Thank you for a perfect comfortable stay in a perfect spot!!
