"Our stay at Hostal Balcones was perfect. Lovely room, nice location in the heart of Old Havanna and there was always a personal and warm welcome when we got home from an excursion around the city - at any time of the day or night. Really, the heart of Hostal Balcones are the people. Mariana, Henri, Ronaldo and the lovely ladies in the kitchen: thank you from the bottom of my heart to make us feel so welcome and to help us find our way around Cuba. Thank you for really nice conversations, for a wonderful breakfast and for welcoming us back after our four-day-trip to Trinidad just for the few hours we had before leaving to the airport. If I ever come back, I'll be sure to stay with you."

"We felt as if we are visiting family. Daily and her family are so kind and lovely people ready to help with everything they can to make your stay better. As we are traveling with baby, we were not so flexible but still wanted to see as much as possible. Daily organized the perfect tour for us and our baby daughter. I would also recommed the breakfast - we had the best coffee of our entire Cuba trip. If we visit Vinales again I would definately choose this casa every time! "

"Pour débuter mon séjour à Cuba, j‘ai chercher un logis agréable à La Havane et la Casa SAN IGNACIO 659 a rempli toute ma satisfaction. Elle se situe dans la vielle Havane, prêt de l’église St.-Paula et à une rue du port. C’est confortable et très propre. Le personnel est très aimable. Je ne peux que conseiller ce logis, pour débuter un séjour à Cuba."

"We stayed here 3 days in February 24 and enjoyed the really Central location, just 2 blocks from Plaza Vieja and the Rum Museum. Old Havanna is all in walking distance, Capitolio is a 20 minutes walk. Super friendly staff consists of two teams (all speak English), changing every 2-3 days, who are all helpful with really everything you need to survive Havanna. Really good cappuccino with refill and tasty egg dishes. Water bottles are available for a little charge from the semi-public fridge. Tourists from other Casas came to enjoy breakfast and stable Wifi here too for a good reason. From the terraces in the 3rd and 4th floor we had a great view over the city, and in the 2nd floor "lounge" we enjoyed drinks in the evening. There were no flies or mosquitos while we stayed here. Actually we even returned for 2 more nights before leaving home, because of the nice atmosphere and the helpful people there. "
