Tried my best for you Alfredo. Did not know you were a group of 4 who required individual rooms as you booked for 2 in a home that had only one bedroom. We were full and could not instantly offer you an alternative. However when we could move you I think you and your friends enjoyed the beautiful Tucano Villa. We will try to do better in the future.

Hi Alex, Glad you found the Villas to be OK. I was not aware we had meals that cost $20, with the exception of our 12 oz Prime USDA ribeye steaks. All the rest of our meals are in the $10 to $12 range. Plus tax of course Yes if you have not been here before and do not know the road it can be a learning experience. However you arrived safely having driven carefully and lived to tell the tale. Butin the morning when you see that spectacular view having had a comfy night sleeping to the sound of the river, well that made it all worth while!

Hi Karla thanks for the review. Yes the Colibri is our most out of the way basic home and as such is outside the WiFi area. All other homes have wifi except the Casita. Yes the bathroom is out and down. These small inconveniences are somewhat covered by the very low price per night. Thanks again for visiting our hidden paradise. Next trip my recommendation is to try the Bejuco, it is on the river close to pool and restaurant and has WiFi.

Yes we are an in amazing location. However we are not a hotel. We are a vacation rental resort, we rent homes. On arrival we make it clear in our welcome message that we will clean the rooms and change the sheets when requested. Other than that we totally respect your privacy. I am sorry you did not understand that and on your next trip you can rest assured we have made a note and will attempt to make you happy by cleaning your Lodge when ever you feel it is necessary. However you must request that service. That being said yes the Villas is a magical place with over 250 5 star reviews on another travel site so we are doing something very right.

Hi Mario, we are very sorry your visit did not meet your expectations. I think perhaps you would rather have made a reservation in a hotel down town. Yes we are in a rural and very safe area, the Cangrejal River Valley, renowned as one of the most beautiful places in Honduras and maybe the world. Yes we are in an area that is 4 miles out of town along a winding country road along the river and it can be a little challenging by night if you have never been here before. Most people who come to our vacation rental resort are renting our homes and some even bring their own food. Those who do not are welcome to eat in our restaurant. Our prices are more than reasonable and the food gets good reviews. I know you had a terrible time with your driver who had no idea where we were located and after several phone calls he still took you to the wrong place. So after a journey of 5 hours instead of 3 you arrived late and after the restaurant had closed. It is true we do not have cell service but we do have good wifi that both you and your Mother took advantage of to contact your friends. There is a TV in our restaurant if you feel like you need one but most come here to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our Hidden Paradise in the Jungle. Safe travels in the future.

Si usted puede llegar tarde y salir al día siguiente a la hora del almuerzo. Entonces yo creo que usted disfrutará de su estancia más. The road is 4.5 miles and is not paved. It takes 20 minutes of careful driving to get here from La Ceiba downtown. To our new guests. We do not recommend a one night stay where you drive up late and leave early. If you can get here early afternoon and leave next day at lunch time. Then I think you you will enjoy your stay more. For a quick one night stay then you may be happier closer to downtown La Ceiba
