The Space:

Welcome to Arenas, a warm and inviting coastal hideaway tucked into La Jolla’s Beach Barber Tract, one of the neighborhood’s most loved residential pockets. With Windansea Beach just a short walk away, the home offers an easygoing setting for beach days, neighborhood exploring, and evenings spent together at home.



Inside, the living room is designed for unwinding, with a plush sectional, and comfortable gathering space for slow mornings or movie nights after a day by the ocean. The adjoining dining area flows into a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and everything you need for meals at home.



Both bedrooms are thoughtfully designed as peaceful retreats, each featuring its own TV for relaxing evenings. Updated bathrooms provide a fresh, modern feel. Please note that the second bedroom has a ceiling fan but does not have air conditioning.



Outside, your private patio is made for enjoying La Jolla’s year-round coastal climate. Start the morning outside with coffee, fire up the BBQ after the beach, gather around the fire pit as the evening cools, or enjoy a friendly game of corn hole.



The main home and its patio are reserved exclusively for your stay. A separate ADU is located on the property and is occupied by long-term residents. The ADU has its own private entrance and outdoor area, allowing each residence to maintain its own sense of privacy. The washer and dryer are the only shared amenity.



With dedicated driveway parking, keyless entry, and thoughtful amenities throughout, Arenas makes settling into the La Jolla lifestyle effortless.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire main home, private patio, and one dedicated driveway parking space.



Arrival is simple with private keyless entry and a unique access code provided for your stay.



A separate ADU on the property is occupied by long-term residents and has its own private entrance and outdoor area. The main home and patio are exclusively for guest use. The washer and dryer located in the backyard are the only shared amenity.

Windansea Beach is approximately a 10-minute walk from the home and is beloved for its iconic surf break, sandstone coastline, tide pools, and unforgettable sunsets. For a scenic morning, grab a coffee and make your way toward Neptune Place, where ocean views unfold along the coast.



A short drive brings you to La Jolla Village for restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and coastal attractions, while Bird Rock offers neighborhood coffee shops, dining, and local favorites just down the coast.



Whether your days are spent surfing, exploring La Jolla, dining around town, or simply enjoying the California sunshine, Arenas puts you close to it all while giving you a comfortable place to come home to.

One vehicle can park in the dedicated driveway space. Additional vehicles may use available street parking.

A few helpful details to know before your stay:



- A separate ADU is located on the property and is occupied by long-term residents. The ADU has its own private entrance and outdoor area. Your main home and patio are private, with the washer and dryer being the only shared amenity.

- Construction is currently underway at a neighboring property. While schedules can vary, guests may occasionally hear construction activity during daytime hours.

- The second bedroom does not have air conditioning but is equipped with a ceiling fan for added comfort.

- Pets are welcome with the applicable pet fee and must be included in your reservation or approved by Scarella Stays in advance. Undisclosed pets are subject to a $500 fee per pet.

- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Violations are subject to a $300 fee.

- Occupancy may include up to two additional guests beyond the standard bed count. Air mattresses and additional linens are available upon request.

- Exterior amplified music is not permitted. Violations are subject to a $500 fee.

- Events and gatherings are not permitted unless approved and coordinated with Scarella Stays in advance. This includes rehearsal dinners, wedding celebrations, birthday parties, and similar gatherings.

- Guests are expected to follow all local regulations regarding quiet hours, outdoor lighting, occupancy, and gatherings.

- The property may not be advertised, listed, subleased, or represented by guests or third parties on Airbnb, VRBO, personal websites, social media, or other platforms. The property address, imagery, name, and description may not be used for rental or marketing purposes.

- Unexpected utility interruptions may occasionally occur due to city maintenance or other circumstances outside of our control. Whenever we receive advance notice, we will communicate it to guests as promptly as possible.

- For the safety and security of the property, an exterior security camera is located at the front entrance. It monitors outdoor areas only and records video when motion is detected. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home or in private interior spaces.

- One dedicated parking space is available in the driveway.

- Additional vehicles may use available street parking.
