Hotel La Porte

« 97 degrees outside. The A/C in my room did not work properly. Sweating all night as it would not cool my room. All I got at the front desk the next morning was, “Sorry.” Will find a different place to stay on my trip out west next summer! :( »

« L'emplacement est le principal atout de l'hôtel selon moi. Les chambres mériteraient un coup de jeunesse. Mais ce qui nous a le plus déçu c'est qu'il était indiqué dans le descriptif la présence d'une blanchisserie (en général 1 ou 2 machines à laver et même chose pour les sèches linges)...et en fait il n'y avait rien. Or nous faisions un road trip et comptions sur cette étape pour faire une lessive. Enfin le petit-déjeuner comptait des avis fabuleux, il était très banal, rien...

« Quiet and clean property. Beds were comfy, shower was hot. Only negative was the pool was almost to cold to swim. »

« Walking into the lobby to check in was 3 people listening to music so loud I couldn't hear the lady checking us in. There was a " criminal " element to the thugs that we're hanging out in the lobby that was a bit uncomfortable. We'll never stay there again.. »

« Grande chambre propre et rénovée. Grande salle de bains avec grand comptoir. Beaucoup de serviettes. Réfrigérateur, micro-onde, séchoir à cheveux, ascenseur, chariot à bagages. Matelas confortable. Excellent wi-fi. Personnel courtois. Facile d'accès: près de l'autoroute. L'hôtel est situé dans un parc industriel. Bon petit-déjeuner: pain, céréales, gaufres, yaourts, pommes, bananes... Petit irritant: la clé de la chambre était sans cesse démagnétisée ( des qu'on sortait de la chambre). »

« The hotel looks clean . However outdated furniture, dim rooms no over head lighting, whirlpool needs work jets splashed so big got room wet, no complimentay water, not enough toiletries. I went to breakfast and room key was locked out , I guess because it was close checkout time. If hubby wasn't in the room I would have had to go to the front desk for reentry. They should cut hanging trees on property some were blocking walk way to hotel. If they spend a little money updating it could be 5...

« Not enough towels and wash cloths. Damaged drawers. No breakfast at all. No soap or shampoo or conditioner. No coffee maker. »

« We checked in and our first room was visibly dirty. I asked for housekeeping to come address the issues and was informed that housekeeping was not available until the following morning. I asked for a new room and was given one, but it was only slightly better than the first. We ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. All of the touch points were very dirty and grimy. I discussed with the staff who were apologetic and they did try to fix the specific items I listed. I...
