« Absolutely loved the setting. It’s off the main road in the mountains, absolutely stunning views and perfect starry night sky. The room (post office) was spacious with a king bed, fridge and microwave, very clean and appointed in the Texas style. Access to the fully stocked cantina was a huge bonus. »

« The property is arranged like a an old time western town with a few fun twists. we only spent 2 nights here, but we would definitely stay here again. We used this property as a jumping off point for Big Bend National Park which is only about 20 minutes away. Loved the views off the back of our cabin which was schoolhouse #2. Disnt get a chance to explore the property much at all but are looking forward to it on our next visit. Great bed and plenty of room...shower is a little old but didnt...

« We loved our stay here! Pet and family friendly. We traveled with our dog and two kids (8 & 6 y/o). The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were immaculate. We enjoyed the community fridge and continental breakfast - one less meal to plan. It was very close to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua. We would stay here again! Pictures are from a short trail next to the campsites. »

« The property is just as pictured, cozy clean vintage airstream that has everything you might need for a comfortable night sleep or cooling off between your hikes. There is a microwave, a grill with a side burner, a fridge and basic kitchen supplies as well as spices and instant coffee. The host was very responsive to messages and was able to help us with a couple minor issues we encountered right away. »

« Great stay. Right across the street from the general store just in case we forgot something, or the always important necessity...ICE. Everything was very close...Big Bend entrance is 5 minutes down the road, and the restaurants and bars are 10-15 minutes away. The POOL was a great feature. We spent a good amount of time up there... again amazing views! »

« We are so glad we were able to stay here. The cantina - community kitchen- is a great concept. The room was very clean and the hike to Apache Cave Trail was a good "warm up" for Big Bend. Tivos restaurant and Chili Peppers were our go to places for great food and local information. »

« Everything was great. Top notch for the region! The one concern is that “dark skies” at night are an essential part of the Big Bend experience. Unless steps are taken Immediately to mitigate light pollution from ALL the commercial development out there it will be greatly diminished in no time and gone before you realize what happened. I think it’s already too late but sure hope not. »
