« A beautiful oasis in the hill country near Fairfax, Vermont. Relaxing surroundings and the house and accommodations are beautiful and clean and spacious. The common room is very large and there are outside places to sit and relax. There are only four rooms, so it can’t really get crowded. The hosts are generous and kind. »

« Booked this inn for two nights over Memorial Day weekend for two reasons: first, my husband was running in the Vermont City marathon, and second, the room featured a hot tub which my husband would use following the race. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating and they provided a delicious gourmet breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we are back in the area. »

Shelburne proved to be a great location for our 4-night stay: a quiet town offering both good access to Burlington and the amazing local Shelburne Museum, which is unlike anything we’ve encountered before in its diversity and quality of exhibits.
