The Beach House is amazing! The property was large and really comfortable for our group. The house is right on the water and very beautiful view of Lake Superior. We used the sauna which was very refreshing after full days of skiing/snowboarding.The property was VERY clean, the kitchen had everything we needed (and beyond) during our stay! Bedding, towels, etc were very nice and well stocked. Snow was plowed/shoveled as need during our stay. Thanks!!Ann was a great host!! She was really quick to respond to any questions.We look forward to staying at Beach House in the summer!!

This is a very nice rental with wonderful views of Lake Superior. The home was exactly as described and was perfect for our 5 day stay. The property is well maintained and the inside of the home is exceptionally clean with comfortable beds, furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. We didn’t use any of the available outdoor equipment but did stick our toes in the freezing cold water! Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Amazing property in a picturesque setting! You can’t get much closer to the lake than this! The house was beautifully decorated with an amazing, fully-stocked kitchen. We cancelled two days of exploring out and about just so we could soak in the peacefulness of being in the house on the beach.

An absolutely stunning house with amazing views! It was the most well stocked home we've ever stayed in. The thought and attention to detail by the owners is evident in every room. We are already planning our next trip up there, but will be staying longer next time!

What a fantastic property! The layout, cleanliness, amenities, views - we had a wonderful time, thanks to the hosts and this wonderful home right on the beach of Lake Superior. From pre check-in and throughout our stay, our host was available to answer any questions and made every effort to ensure our family getaway for brothers and spouses was perfect. The kitchen is set up beautifully for meal preparation and serving, and we all enjoyed coffee on the deck each day with the panoramic view of Lake Superior before us. There is so much to do on the Keweenaw Peninsula, but we found ourselves spending several full days on-site because the beautiful deck, fire table, and firepit kept us so content outside, and the seating inside was plentiful and comfortable. This home has everything needed for a relaxing getaway both indoors and outdoors, including sauna, outdoor shower, kayaks, paddleboards, nice seating, firepit with firewood, and every indoor comfort including the beds, linens, laundry, wifi, and kitchen equipment. We could not have been happier with this beautiful home for our family getaway!

Pictures honestly do not do this place justice! The large windows combined with the high ceilings give such an amazing view of Lake Superior that my husband and I both let out an audible gasp when we first saw it in person. Not only do you have a gorgeous view right on the lake but the house is so nicely decorated and filled with everything you need. Our host, Ann, was so very kind and easy to communicate with. Plus the coffee in the house is delicious! We would definitely visit here again in the future.

We loved it here! Beautiful house, great beach, and the hosts provide everything you need for a truly fun stay. We used the paddleboards, kayaks, & sauna each day- the bay is great for paddling on the crystal clear Superior water. Amazing sun rises with a cup of coffee each morning. Comfy beds, great kitchen, spacious & bright living room, and the view is one of a kind. We wish we could've stayed longer!

We had the most wonderful return stay at this gorgeous home on “the ocean”! The property is picturesque, clean, spacious, well thought out and had everything we needed for a memorable family getaway.The setting right on the water with the endless sand beach of the bay is storybook worthy. Our family never shies away from the chilly Lk Sup temps and we all a blast swimming, paddle boarding, playing games on the beach and exploring the expansive shoreline. Morning coffee on the deck and taking in the stunning sunrise is an unmatched experience I’ll think of year round. The sauna was an awesome addition this year and we enjoyed it thoroughly.Kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook family meals, and there were plenty of hangout spots for everyone to gather together or spread out when needed. Sleeping setup was great for our two families.Although quite the drive for us from southern WI, the Keewenaw is a must-visit location. This property’s location is perfectly positioned — quiet and serene, yet close enough to town for any essentials. Lots of surrounding areas and activities to check out if desired, although once you arrive it’s unlikely you’ll want to leave the house/beach/lake at all!Host, Annie, is wonderful — welcoming, always responsive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. We made so many special memories here again this summer and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this dreamy Lake Superior retreat to anyone!!

Excellent location! We are in love with the beautiful singing sand. It seriously is the Waikiki of the UP! The house is top notch. Our host checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We swam, kayaked, fished, saunaed and jumped in the lake! It was a blast and we can’t wait to do it again! Truly a 5 star experience.

Great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the views! No need to leave with an amazing beach like this home offers. Although we had nothing but great weather, the house has plenty to offer if you’re stuck inside. Thanks for sharing such a perfect piece of paradise with myself and my family. Best Rental on Big Traverse Bay

We've stayed at two vacation rentals on Big Traverse Bay since 2019. Not only is this venue the best, but it has all the amenities and couple who host the property are a joy. This is the first time in four years we've had internet, and it really made a difference for our family get away (especially when it rained steadily for two days). My only hesitation in recommending a stay to everyone--if I'm being selfish--is availability for future visits. ;-) Thank you, Ann!

This house had everything we needed and more on Big Traverse Bay in the Keweenaw. Beautiful views and a quiet place to relax after a day of hiking and adventures up in the Keweenaw. I highly recommend.

Perfect family getaway!

This was our first time exploring Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and we could not have been happier with the house. Everything was as advertised, and Ann was a wonderful host. Our kids loved the sand beach and calm shallow bay for playing in the water. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked, and the basement game room is great for nighttime or rainy day entertainment. We also had a blast enjoying the towns of the Keweenaw Peninsula and fishing with local guides. If our travels ever bring us back to the UP, this is where we would hope to stay again!

Family Vacation

We have been traveling for years for family vacations & this is the best property we have rented on VRBO! Ann is great with communication and such a kind soul! Everything about the home made us not want to leave with the amazing lakeside views and the relaxing cozy spot for a fire to the beautiful details that were put into this home. Coming from the construction industry, this is the type of home we love to see! Unique in every way. The paddle boat was awesome, we all loved going for rides along the shore and playing in the sand everyday. We were able to make home cooked meals every day in the huge kitchen. Everything we needed and more was right there. We can't wait to come back again!

Look no longer if you want a beautiful relaxing time on the Upper Peninsula!!!

We’ve been staying in VRBO properties for over 15 years with our four kids, traveling from KY toFL, IN, MI, CO, and Kansas to name a few. This was easily one of our best experiences ever. The host was very nice and easy to reach. The home was very new and very clean and had more amenities that made travel easy (cooking spices, oil, etc). The area is very remote, but there’s a grocery story in Lake Linden that has everything you will need. It’s beautiful and peaceful. We saw a bald eagle which was new for us. My kids snd husband enjoyed the kayak and paddle boat. We played board games that were available from the house. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths, and the laundry area was wonderfully organized and nice- something that makes traveling with a family easy. We went for different hikes daily- there’s a lot in the area. Only recommendation would be to use bug spray if you go hiking- which the house had some by the front door. Truly a wonderful place and vacation!!!!!

Family time perfection

We booked this place for MTU graduation weekend so we would be able to grill out and celebrate the achievements of our grad and this place did not meet but exceeded our expectation. The few things that were not already out (since winter in the UP ended yesterday) the owner got out and ready to go when asked. So not only did we have everything we needed but the location and space were perfect for everyone in the family. Plus, we were treated to amazing sun rises and sunsets every evening including many sightings of local wildlife.
