Hotel Langstrand

« Positive: The place is great if you’re trying to be half way between Walvis Bay and swakopmund. Negative: not sure if it’s because it was low season (mid July) but the included breakfast was basically cereal, bread, yogurt, coffee. I’ve had better continental breakfast at some motels. Maybe they actually cook when there are many guests. I think there were less than 3 guests that day. Due to cargo ships in the ocean and lack of white sand, the beach is not very inviting. »

« Not really in Walvis bay but in long beach / 10 km away. No longer a Protea branded hotel. Quite old fashion but a large room with th ocean view at a reasonable price. Parking lot nearby. Receptionnist very helpfull. »

« What an interesting place. It was a little uncomfortable when the receptionist acted like we didn't have a reservation. Maybe it was my American accent. Ha! The room was wonderful and the Springbocks on the golf course are awesome! Thank you! »

« We will enjoyed our stay here. Great breakfast. Super clean room. »

« Hôtel de passage à Walvis Bay. Service impeccable. Lieu propre et sûr. Le restaurant est particulièrement délicieux. »

« The entire staff were warm, friendly and professional. It is definitely a place I will return to stay in the future. Thank you Ngandu at Sea! »

« Yes to all »

« Amazing place and amazing owners!!! Thank you! Great respect! »

« Very nice staff, quiet facilities, centrally located, great fir walking to the coast »

« The property is clean, tidy, well maintained and centrally located with easy access to downtown (3-5) minutes away and within walking distance to the harbour front and ocean. Harbour front ( next to yacht club) has nice restaurants and plenty of excursion options. Oh, yes and the Meransha staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. 10/10 »

« Close to the center, bar, restaurant, shops and the sea by walk, overall nice hotel with good location. However the hot water is missing when the hotel have big groups and it only comes back around 7 am... a bit annoying when you shuttle for the activity is supposed to arrive at 7h30 and you also have to eat your breakfast. »
