This time, it felt like a cash grab. Resort fee $60, Valet $40. Food was average at best and extremely expensive for what it was. I never mind paying for a superior meal, but it all felt like they were going through the motions. And that is for the restaurants with reservations. I had to take the kids to the food court in the canal shops one time and that was borderline inedible. The hotel is supposed to be an Expedia VIP hotel, but no mention of it at check in. No room upgrade even though rooms were available. We were supposed to have 25$ room credit, but it wasn't reflected when we tried online checkout, so I had to stand in line for 20 minutes to speak to a person. She wouldn't honor the credit, but very generously (not) removed one $16 bottle of water (retail $3.99) from our bill. My wife accidentally locked herself out of the room and security wouldn't help her because her name wasn't on the reservation. They even refused to simply call me. The last real sour taste was the valet guy, who was trying to tell me that we should pay for three days of valet even though we only stayed two nights and didn't exceed 48 hours. He got extremely argumentative with me even though his colleagues sided with me. It left me with such a poor last impression that we will never go back. Especially in Vegas where you have a million choices, this was sub-par.
