We stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club Desert Retreat after a two week camper van trip through southern Utah. We could not have picked a better place to stay! After dropping off the rental camper van we had a several hour wait until the official check-in time at the hotel. The staff held our bags and we relaxed by the pool until our room was ready. Lucky for us the room that we had originally booked was not immediately available so we were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice (clean, well appointed, quiet, and comfortable). The staff were very responsive and answered all of our questions and were helpful without delay. The next day we had a flight to catch and we were given a late checkout time without any ordeal. The property is clean and safe. The only downside is that it is a long walk to get to any places to eat and we did not have a car. However, it is a quick Uber ride to anywhere that we wanted to go. We will look to book here again the next time we are in town.

Only gave 4 stars for cleanliness as housekeeping was below standard. Although it clearly states limited housekeeping, during our 3 week stay, the bathroom and kitchen were only cleaned once even though our room was "serviced" twice a week. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay. The property is very well maintained and the staff are all very helpful.

We like that it has an adult only pool, its in a quiet area away from the strip. There are many things in the area that are walkable so we don't need a car.

The floors were never steamed cleaned or mopped. As soon as my son walked I. Took shoes off next to door walked over to couch, his feet were completely black. We complain due to having an infant that constantly wants to run/crawl around and couldn’t even step on the floor. Supposedly they were suppose to come clean around noon time, but nvr showed up. If they did not sure what they did. We did have house keeping come few days before that, they made the beds, however the dirty towels on floor they just hung up. No floors were cleaned in that day either just beds made. Not sure if it’s just this hotel or all of the Hilton Vacations clubs that are like This.

We loved this property! Units are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful, and very accommodating to our many requests over 5 days with a group of 8 (2 units booked). The strip is about an 8 minute drive (we didn’t rent a car, just used Uber or taxis), and coming back at the end of the day felt like an oasis. Quiet, comfortable, and with a beautiful pool area. The in-suite laundry was an added bonus, only needed to pack about half of what we brought. 10/10, would love to stay here again.

When we checked in I didn’t realized there was stairs, my son travels with a power chair so I asked to be moved to lower level, it was late in the evening so they couldn’t move us that night but locked up the chair for us and moved us as quick as they could in the morning. Rooms were very clean and staff was amazing

Check-in was quick and smooth. Staff was super nice all weekend. Room is more of an apartment, which was lovely. We had a full kitchen with everything you need to cook, eat and drink with. You have your own washer/dryer and walk in closet. Overall, our stay was great.
