An execllent choice for anyone staying in Lewes

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Lewes. A short way from the town centre, we had the Garden Studio (Twin) which was beautifully clean, well kitted out and comfortable. We very much appreciated the 'isolated' nature of the studio, being a separate building in the garden rather than in the main house, and facilities for making our own breakfast (cereal, milk, orange joice, bread, butter, jams all provided plus cooking facility to make cooked breakfast ourselves if we wished) and that breakfast time was really up to us. Access to the garden was a huge bonus The owners were delightful, intelligent and very helpful. We will go back to Lewes at some point and plan to stay here again.

Great for Glyndebourne or a long weekend in Lewes.

This is a very comfortable self-contained little B and B about 20 mins walk from Lewes Station. We stayed in order to go to Glyndebourne and found it very pleasant. It's well equipped and quiet; checkin was easily arranged by phone a few days before. A decent breakfast is provided; beds are comfortable and there's parking on the street. Wi-fi is good and the twin beds are ideal for a couple of friends. I'll certainly stay here again.

Spotlessly clean in a lovely location with over-sized TV, super fast wi-fi and very nice touches with cereal, bread, tea/coffee all provided. A home from home. Shower pressure very weak and the beds - while incredibly comfortable - are very small. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again and cannot recommend this place enough.

Tranquil, clean and well appointed

We stayed in the Studio, the smaller room, for one night for a party. The room was absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and an excellent night's sleep. The walk in to the town centre took us about 20 minutes as we are slow walkers but fine. If you go to the top of the road there is alley on left which you can take. On the downside there are no views from the windows ( which is apparent from the photos, but which I hadnt really appreciated), which made me feel a little claustrophobic. Not much of an issue for a one night stay though. Access to the Studio is up some fairly steep steps, so would be difficult for anyone with limited mobility.

A lovely appointed room, in an excellent location. Nice and cosy on a chilly spring day. Our host, Paul was also very helpful, but without being intrusive.

Good value comfort

Nice comfortable studio, with twin beds. Well appointed with a selection of continental breakfast options in room. Tea & coffee, with a large jug of fresh milk(for breakfast too). The main room lacks a mirror and there is a small en-suite. The en-suite has a macinator which goes off randomly every 30 mins or so - bit annoying in the night.
