« Accomodation was in very good order; as presented on the VBRO-website. We found everything needed for a comfortable stay in a ‘home away from home’.Communication with owner Phil left nothing to be desired.We had a lovely time during what was a first visit to the Dales. Newbiggin is a lovely little village for those who seek peace and quiet in the countryside. « We had a great stay in this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,...

A few minutes walk and you are in proper wilderness with so much wildlife about. « This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. »
