« For our honeymoon, my wife and I had a Mon-Fri 4 night stay in what the resort calls cabin 5, Expedia calls the design cabin. Just a couple of tiny details prevented us from rating 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. Positives: Incredible view of the lake from the cabin patio. Nice access to the water with a dock and little sandy beach. Pool and hot tubs are top notch and close walking distance. « The cabin was beautiful and clean. Perfect for 2. The hosts had a nice reception book ready that was clear and helpful. We did have an issue with the WiFi that was undergoing improvements, but the host was very helpful and responsive and we got it going. If we are ever back in the area this cabin will be the first place I check. »

« We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas.
