„This was the first time we traveled without guide in China. The Village Inn team and especially Anna, Tina and Gloria did an excellent job providing us with ideas what to do and doing the arrangements for us. Their English is as perfect as the ideas that they suggested - so we had 3 wonderful days in Yangshuo. We got stuck a few times with our minimal Chinese language skills. „Sehr schön gelegenes, liebevoll und sehr professionell geführtes Hotel. Alle sprechen Englisch. Sehr gutes Essen; viele Optionen (chinesisch, westlich), was in China vielerorts keine Selbverständlichkeit ist. Leider etwas abgelegen. Zur schönen Landschaft am Yulong-Fluss muss man die verkehrsreiche Stadt Yangshuo durchqueren. Nach Xingping (Norden) und zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 45 - 60 Min. Fahrt. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.“

„Ausstattung modern, grosszügig und hip, aber es ist auf gar kein Fall ein internationales Hotel. An der Rezeption spricht niemand nur ein Wort Englisch! Und das in einem Hilton! Letzte Rettung war Tourorganisatorin Jenny, die Englisch sprach, und mir helfen konnte. Vielen Dank! „From the moment arriving at Yangshuo Sugar House we were instantly charmed. The architecture is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and every building is photogenic. You never get tired of the views, food was perhaps the best we've had in all of China, and the spa is exceptional. Loved the activities too, like rock climbing and bamboo raft on the Li River.
