Stairs Galore - Service non-existent
There was no one on property and when we called nothing happened. Despite advertising to the contrary, there was No daily housekeeping, No laundry, and No tour or local information. There were No instructions for the remotes for the TV, the oven, even the front door which will not open without a great deal of force. The space heater upstairs is broken and way too little anyway. Apartment was very cold first two days.
There were no towels in the kitchen, no soap in the kitchen, no towels in downstairs bath
The worst thing was the apartment does not have a road out front and taxis have no idea where this place is! No explanation before hand of how to get “near” the location. We had to carry our suitcases up a ton of stairs. There was no way to get help with the suit cases. We found that if we had been let out of taxi at top we could have tugged them down a very steep cobblestone ramp and then some stairs. It was an untenable situation for us (female retirees). The fine print said to contact hotel ahead of time, but there was no indication of how far ahead of time. Apparently we were supposed to know that it meant at least before the 2 o’clock check in. We arrived at 4:30 in the rain after lugging our suitcases up the 40-50 stairs and had no way to get in. It took 2 hours to get help and get in our apartment. We ran out of toilet paper and no more to be found. Oh and there is a Pole staircase to the main sleeping area upstairs in the apartment - ridiculous.
