Great place in Alfama

We had an amazing stay in this apartment, location was terrific for us. The apartment was very clean, great showers, Ana was very helpful and offered a late check-out which was super helpful. The arrangement of the spaces is unusual, in that the rooms are all in one building stacked vertically, with the bottom bedroom at street level and the other two accessed from a separate stair next door on the second and third floors; each bedroom/floor has its own bathroom. The top floor has the communal space and the larger kitchen and roof deck; the lower bedroom has a small patio and a small kitchen.This arrangement worked for us. But could be a challenge for some groups of travelers. Overall it was a great place to stay for a few days in Lisbon!

Amazing property

The apartments and location couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 7. Bodegas and restaurants are within easy walking distance and the Fado museum is the perfect uber pick up spot. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and modern with an old world touch. There is street/people noise but part of the experience. Ana the host was super responsive and very welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Alfama

We LOVED our stay at this beautifully renovated apartment. Everything was meticulously thought out and each detail added to the overall feel of the space. The location is great with many delicious restaurants along the street and a bakery right across from the apartment. Everything looks exactly as the pictures and the property was very clean. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend! P.S. We had little kids with us so we had to be extra careful about the steps and the couch in the living room, which comes up against a glass railing at the top of the steps. Just something to be mindful of, if traveling with little ones.

College/teen family vacation

Wonderful stay in Lisbon. Ana is a terrific host, providing responsive, helpful communication to make everything run smoothly. We rented to of adjacent apartment for our family of six—kids ages 23,21,19,17. The place was perfect. Alfama is very hilly and this apartment is in the heart of the neighborhood, but don’t let that scare you. After lugging our luggage up the 3 minute walk up from Fado Museum, we acclimated quickly. The neighborhood is special, with restaurants, shops, coffee/wine around each bend in the road. The units themselves were clean, as described, and exceeded our expectations. Ana delivers a special local Lisbon experience. We will be back!

Spectacular Apartment in Alfama

Apartment was well designed and especially enjoyed learning about its renovation (well done!) It was centrally located in Alfama to public transportation, restaurants, markets and bakeries (almost directly across from the apartment for those longing for a morning Ginja and pastel de nata). Close to many of the tourist sites, just a short walk or taxi drive away. Ana was very responsive to any questions we had. Strongly recommend this apartment!!

Great location and place!

The place was fantastic and the perfect location for us. There were good restaurants and shopping close by and it was easy to find our way around the neighborhood. Ana was fantastic. We arrived in Lisbon way before our check-in time, but since no one was staying in the place prior to our visit, Ana was able to let us check-in early. The place was easily to find, the check-in process was great, and the place was clean. I would definitely recommend the place to anyway one visiting Lisbon.

Beautiful, suite with loads of character

Four of us enjoyed staying right in the historic Alfama neighborhood and in this lovely apartment. Good location, close to the sites and the water. Ana, the property owner was very attentive and made sure we had a smooth check in and answered any of our questions. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing property in the heart of Alfama

We just came back from an amazing stay in Lisbon. The apartments (we rented both) were the best decorated VRBO that I have ever stayed in. Absolutely amazing! We were lucky to also meet one of the owners and she could not be any nicer! The location is amazing, right in the heart of Alfama. There was Fado all around us every night. We could listen to the music even just sitting on the terrace. I cannot recommend the place enough. Of course, keep in mind that there is no way a car could reach the place. You carry your bags uphill for 3-5 min from the little square near by. But a small price to pay for the perfect location! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
