Great stay! Front desk was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Only downside was no lift and ten minute walk to the train station (only an issue for us) but can be fabulous for others! Would highly recommend.

I had a lovely stay at argyle for 2 days it was perfect for me, Anna was lovely to communicate with the only downside is there’s not a lot of local parking, but would definitely stay again

It was such a nice stay - the kitchen utensils were clean and stocked with what we could need. the hosts were so friendly and communication was so good. would definitely stay again

SHOCKING
Had to wait 10 mins in the pouring rain as nobody was answering the door on check in, the double bed is the smallest double I have ever seen, the duvet only just covered it so it was impossible with 2 people in the bed for us both to have cover! Feet hanging out the end and who I was with is only 5ft! The room was very hot and the heating was broke so we couldn’t turn it down, we were also at the front of the building and the road noise was horrendous, very over priced for that room!!

As I was flying from Australia (40 hrs door to door) I had requested an early check in weeks before arrival, but of course there was no record of it !!!! Also the "Deluxe Apartment" I was in bore no resemblance to the advertised apartment.

The communication with the hotel was really warm and friendly and liked the fact they touched base with when we were to check in. All was clean and felt new which made our stay lovely.

I stayed in London two nights for business. The hotel is located in a down-scale neighborhood a bit north east of Islington. You have to be buzzed into the hotel and it was rare to see a person at the front desk. The overall decor is dated but the room was clean and comfortable - though I was in a room that had a brick wall when I looked out the window. No breakfast was offered that I could see though the rooms have a kitchen and there is a Tesco nearby.

The property was not as described. The booking photo's showed a bright room with a good view. Our room had one window looking at a brick wall <1m away. The room was therefore very dark. It was clean, but that's where the positives end. Disappointing and false advertising in my view.

I came around 1:30 am and I couldn’t get into my room.using the card I couldn’t unlock the door of my room to get in.I called the girl ( staff member) who lives in during the night time to help.She picked up the phone and totally ignored me.she hanged up straightaway. I kept ringing and texting her but no reply at all. This is utterly disgraceful and appalling gesture from someone who is supposed to be working night shift and helping customers in case of any issues happening inside the hotel.I paid £85 to stay awake in the corridor instead of sleeping inside my room.There is not even a single chair…..I’m suffering with lower back pain sciatica sitting on the floor. I’ve got to wait for receptionist until 8 or 9 am.It is disgusting moment for me being treated like this from the woman who supposed to help me.I’m running out of words and mentally destroyed

Pictures do not show réalité ! Place and rooms are gloomy ! For the Price it is a shame...no window in my room, towel holder all rusty, shower not cleaned. Girl at réception was nice and helpful though. But the place is a joke for that Price !

Be aware and stay away
The cleanliness was terrible. Dirty is understatement. Unfortunately , both floor and bed where not cleaned, and when reported on this to host they provided sheets for us to replace instead of doing it themselves. Moreover, the room size is much smaller in reality than in the picture and description is a bit cheating. I am sorry but can hardly recmand this place.

Nice apartment.
Good communication with reception. Clean and spacious room. Nice beds. Only bad thing is that there is not much natural light in ground floor apartment - has small window. Overall nice apartment. Good location.

Avoid. This hotel is like a prison, the bed is uncomfortable and we both woke with sore backs. We are event professionals and stay in hotels with our tours. We also had drilling outside our room and the entrance smells like the disenfecant of a toilet. There is rust on the bathroom fittings and cowebs in the cupboards. A little more care would go along away.

Good place to stay at a good price
Positive.Staff friendly. Bed comfortable. Kitchen big and everything you might need is in it.slight negatives. room1 shower small and low and very steep steps down to the kitchen from the bedroom if not very mobile. Only real negative was the floor in our room was dirty. We mentioned on leaving and the staff member thanked us for letting them know. Which was good.

It's a lovely apartment with great facilities. The kitchen and bathroom looked brand new and ever so clean. The bedroom was comfy and the location was excellent. The only things I didn't like were the lack of natural light and the steep steps getting down to the bathroom at night were pretty scary if you couldn't find the light switch! Otherwise, fabulous.

Första natten fick vi ett rum utan fönster vid in/utgång så man stördes mycket av alla som kom och gick. Vi fick sen byta till ett annat rum med fönster som var mycket bättre men fortfarande lyhört. Personalen var trevlig, särskilt mannen och försökte lösa alla ev. problem. Själva rummet var fräscht och rymligt med ett litet pentry.

Tidy, clean, cosy
Have stayed here 3 times, every time it has been very clean, very tidy and the rooms are very comfortable. Each apartment has a good kitchen, it would be nice to have some tea or coffee available but with plenty of nearby shops it's easy to stock up on a few essentials for your stay.

Lovely people to stay with
Was a great place to stay as we had to come to London for a couple of nights and as it was pet friendly we didnt have the problem of finding someone to look after our dog. The staff/owner was so helpful and noting was too much trouble.
