  • Spacious and well located short term accommodation in South Kensington. The flat is on the first floor of a classic period building. From here you are a short walk to both South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations.



    LIVING AREA

    The living area is spacious with floor to ceiling bay windows, wooden floors plus a dining table and chairs for five. Wifi is provided by fibre broadband.



    BEDROOM

    The bedroom offers a king size bed and a built in wardrobe. Quality linen, newly laundered and pressed, is provided for each stay.



    KITCHEN

    The kitchen is independent of the living room and fully equipped with a gas cooker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Starter supplies including washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs and washing powder are included.



    BATHROOM

    There is modern bathroom with a large walk-in-shower. Starter toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided as standard

    South Kensington is stylish and chic and well loved by boho artists and city high flyers. Lots of pretty streets, pretty shops and of course, pretty people too. You will have easy access to the museums of South Kensington, antique shopping on the Fulham Road, and people watching on the Kings Road - not forgetting the great River Thames by Chelsea Embankment. Enjoy this lovely central location so close to the King's Road and Sloane Square.

Lovely, spacious flat with almost everything provided near two Tube stations

We really liked that almost everything we needed was already in place. The full-size refrigerator was a bonus. Having access to two Tube stations certainly helped our travels and it was nice being in a residential area on Clareville Grove so close to Old Brompton Road. Just one major thing and a few nit-picks. It would be extremely nice to have a shelf or hanging basket in the shower to hold shampoo, soap, etc. Bending over to pick up things off the floor was very uncomfortable. There are some small things that can be addressed in a few hours ... (a) the door/window by the table does not lock, even while using the provided key, this could be a safety concern, (b) the toilet seat is missing (or has a broken) "bumper" on the underneath left side, you cannot sit flat when on the toilet, and (c) the instructions for the washer/dryer were nicely written, but we could not read them because someone had spilled water or some other liquid on them, it would be nice if those could be replaced with a typed copy or a copy written in regular ink. (Like I said, the last three items are nit-picks and did not affect our enjoyment of our stay at all.)
