Seul bémol :hôtel un peu bruyant (passage des voitures), inconvénient du rez-de-chaussée peut-être mais très propre, jolie chambre. Personnel vraiment très disponible, souriant et agréable. 23.12.31.-24.01.01. 1박 후기 베드버그만 없으면 되는 잠자리에 크게 예민하지 않은 사람의 후기 ! 1박 총 요금 158,720원 장점 1. 위치 - 소호에서 도보 15분, 런던아이에서 도보 30분정도. 위치가 되게 좋았음. 12/31 런던 불꽃놀이보고 걸어가기가 충분한 거리였음. 2. 직원의 친절함 - 토트넘 경기가 2시에 있었고 경기 관람 후 바로 불꽃놀이를 보러 가는 계획이라 체크인하기가 애매했는데 미리 연락을 하고 10시 반쯤 가니 직원들이 친절하게 방 키를 먼저 주었음. 내 짐은 청소 후 방안으로 알아서 옮겨다 놓아주었고 그래서 늦은 시간에도 체크인하기가 편했음! 3. 무료 조식 - 조식이 포함된 가격이었는데 조식이 생각보다 너무 잘나왔어요. 여러 메뉴 중에 골라서 주문하면 주는 메인 메뉴 + 커피, 우유, 토스트, 과일 등 자유롭게 먹을 수 있는 뷔페식 구성. 먹으면서도 돈 따로 받는건가 싶었습니다. 단점 1. 공간 - 1인실 기준 좁긴 좁습니다. 캐리어 하나 펼쳐놓으면 딱 침대-화장실 사이에 한발짝 정도의 공간 나옵니당. 저는 1박이라 크게 불편하진 않았어요! 총평 오래된 숙소(1700년대에 지어진 숙소래요. 우리나라 수원 화성 완공이전..)지만 12월 31일 인것 감안하면 가격도 적당하고 방도 깔끔하고 든든한 조식과 친절한 직원들 덕에 만족스러운 숙박이었습니당!

The staff were all vey polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. The Jesmond has a lovely secluded small oasis of a garden which guests can use. For me, its location was perfect being close to Euston station and easy walking distance of Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square etc; and being close to several underground stations on various lines. Yes, the room was small but it had everything I needed and the stay was very pleasant and good value for money, especially for London.

Excellent stay
The hotel is conveniently located and is well maintained and very clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I’d stay again. The only quibble is that there’s no lift but probably it would be difficult if not impossible to install one in a Georgian building of this type.

We didn’t really enjoy our stay here. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great, but the building needs some upkeep (especially new beds). Just a note for travellers, the bathrooms are shared and located outside the rooms.

Would stay there again.
The Jesmond is wonderful. I highly recommend it. Do be sure, however, to check which floor you are on. The top floor is 6 flights up and there is no elevator. Someone with limited mobility would not be able to stay on the top floor. That said, I loved my single room. It face the garden and was quiet at night. I was in London to do research at the British Library, which is a short walk (.6 miles).

Perfect location, reasonable price
I booked well in advance based on the locale (Bloomsbury), positive reviews, and bargain pricing compared to other area hotels. My room was a twin bed single + ensuite. Compact. No room for a desk, chair, wardrobe or such if that's what you need, but was fine with me. Bathroom is small but ok, but the shower leaves no elbow room (it has one of those rain heads, but there's no escaping it in this skinny phonebooth, so you have to turn it off to wash and shampoo, then back on again to rinse). Considering the location, it was quieter than I expected -- even with the windows open, as Gower St isn't a major thoroughfare and has no bus service. Buses are a couple short blocks away, as is the Goodge Tube Station (the Russell Square station and big Euston hub are each a half-mile away). The British Museum is just a 5-minute walk down the street, the Dickens' Museum twice that, while Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Carnaby St, Regents Park and more all within a 15-20 minute walk. A full English breakfast is included every morning, plus help yourself to a bowl of fresh fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, OJ, etc. That'll save you a good 15-20 quid or more per day otherwise. Wifi was fast, but there were a couple brief outages while I was there, probably their ISP to blame, so out of their hands. There is no elevator, but someone is available to lug your luggage up or down if need be. Also no A/C, although the house will provide a fan if needed. Stayed 5 nights, would so again.

The staff were friendly and made you feel part of their, the property, environment. A fact sheet in each room would be very appreciated....stating the breakfast hours and the hours that the garden was available to use. I was not aware of access to the garden till the day I left. You could also locate areas were restaurants are available close by. While most of us have smart phones not all of use use the location service of these attributes of smart phones. Thank you.

The 5 person room worked well for a family of 5. It is one large room with 5 beds. Tea service and coffee are provided in the room. The breakfast was wonderful as it allowed our family to fuel up and get some good recommendations from our host. Also, the hotel is willing to hold bags before check in / after check out. Vincent, our host, was delightful and full of great recommendations. Highly recommend.

Great family run hotel with very friendly and pleasant staff. Stayed for two nights in an excellent and immaculately clean double ensuite room with tea and coffee making facilities. Fantastic breakfast cannot fault and will definitely come back when visiting London again.
