We stayed in a deluxe room for a week. The location is great. Hyde Park and the underground station Queensway is almost on the doorstep. All employes are very kind. They made us feel very comfortable. But I dont want to hide the fact, that the room could be a bit bigger and the furniture should be renewed. We would like to book again.

Wir hatten ein 3-Bettzimmer, das für Londoner Verhältnisse groß war. Allerdings war das Zustellbett für einen schlanken 13-Jährigen schmal. Das Bad war relativ neu renoviert und daher auch noch ohne Kalk- und Schimmelecken, die in London ja gern mal vorkommen. Bis auf das Doppelbett, das sehr bequem war, ist die Einrichtung etwas abgewohnt. Sehr gut fanden wir neben dem üblichen Wasserkocher für Tee und löslichen Kaffee, die Nespressomaschine, deren Kapseln täglich aufgefüllt werden. Die Schlüsselkarten haben bei uns selten funktioniert, sodass wir immer wieder an die Rezeption gehen mussten, um die Karten wieder aktivieren zu lassen. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich, die Qualität aber nicht die Beste. Von großem Vorteil ist die Klimaanlage, allerdings ist sie so laut, das wir sie nachts nicht nutzen konnten. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist an den belebten Bayswater Road eher schwierig. Praktisch fanden wir die Tankstelle im EG des Gebäudes, die einen guten Shop mit Supermarktpreisen hat.

Ich möchte hier eigentlich nicht den Roman in die Rezension schreiben, den ich direkt an das Hotel geschrieben habe. Da habe ich bis jetzt ohnehin noch keine Antwort erhalten. Ich halte mich daher (relativ) kurz. Gleich zu beginn: Meiden Sie dieses Hotel. Es kommt sehr stark darauf an, welches Zimmer man bekommt. Das sollte in einem 4 Sterne Hotel jedoch nicht der Fall sein. Ich verbrachte 2 Nächte in dem Hotel. Allerdings war ich innerhalb von 24 Stunden in 5 verschiedenen Zimmern. Das erste Zimmer war nicht gemacht bzw geputzt. Im zweiten Zimmer war die Toilette verstopft. Im dritten Zimmer war Schimmel im Bad zu finden. Im vierten Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk waren Geräusche (ein Summen, wie etwa von der Klimaanlage) von Geräten am Dach zu hören, weshalb ich in der Nacht kein Auge zu machen konnte. Das fünfte Zimmer, in dem ich meine 2. Nacht verbracht habe war ok. Allerdings waren auch hier noch Haare auf der WC-Brille und in der Dusche zu finden. Das Personal war grundsätzlich freundlich. Ein Mitarbeiter war ziemlich frech. Wir wollten unbedingt den Manager sprechen, haben sogar 3 mal nach ihm gefragt. Er hatte nicht den Mut, mit uns über unsere Beschwerden zu diskutieren. Wir bekamen für die Unanehmlichkeiten keine Entschuldigung seitens des Managers. Ich bin sehr viel unterwegs, doch so etwas wie hier habe ich tatsächlich noch nie erlebt. Es gibt so viele Hotel in London, in dieses werde ich aufjedenfall nicht mehr gehen und werde es definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

The hotel has only recently re-opened after Covid, most of the staff are new and are currently being trained across all departments and this contributed to and exacerbated the issues that you encountered. The stay that you describe is certainly not typical or acceptable and I sincerely hope that you give us the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an unforgettable (for the right reasons) experience in this wonderful location. Die Junior suit war ausreichend groß für 3 Peronen. Im 3. Stockwerk ein grandioser Ausblick über Hydepark und gesamt Londnon. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. 5 Min. zu Einkaufsstraße und Restaurants (Italiener, Chinesen, Grill). 10 min. zu Fuß zum Kensington Palace und 5 Min. zum Hydepark. U-Bahn Station "Queensway" 3 Minuten!

We had a few problems with the first room. I think the storm Ciara destroyed the windows a little and it was windy inside. After calling the reception, Nadir was very helpful and helped us finding a new room. He was so kind and I wanted to thank him again here! The location is awesome, right next to the Hyde Park and near to two Underground stations!

Wir haben 2 Standardzimmer gebucht und mussten feststellen, dass ein Zimmer sehr klein und das andere so winzig war, dass man fast nicht gehen konnte, ohne sich anzustoßen. Keine Haken für Garderobe, nur ein sehr schmaler Kasten, um Kleidung aufzuhängen. Ablagefläche fehlten ganz. Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren zum Teil fleckig und rochen muffig. Armaturen wurden nicht geputzt. Der Teppich war schmutzig - wahrscheinlich zu wenig Platz für den Staubsauger! Wir haben schon öfter Standardzimmer in anderen Hotels gebucht und waren immer zufrieden. Dieser Hotel entspricht in keinster Weise dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft ist super mit ÖV erreichbar. Gute Zimmergrösse. Schöne Aussichten auf Hyde Park. Aber..., uns wurde gesagt und gross angepriesen, dass sie 24std Roomservice haben und wir uns nur melden können, wenn wir was möchten. Das haben wir auch gemacht! Es gab nichts!!! Nicht mal mehr Wasser haben Sie uns gegeben!!! Obwohl in der karte stand, 24std essen und trinken! Das geht garnicht!

Die Lüftungsanlage ist sehr laut, vor allem nachts unüberhörbar. Wen das nicht stört, uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen. Den Adapter kann man sich gegen 5 Pfund Pfand leihen. Kofferausbewahrung nach dem Auschecken möglich.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, nur wenige Minuten zur Underground, Lebensmittelgeschäft in unmittelbarer Nähe, Möglichkeit im Zimmer Tee und Kaffee zu kochen, tgl. ein kleines Fläschen Wasser vom Haus. Sehr ruhiges Haus, sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Blick ins Grüne. Weniger schön war, dass die Handtücher zum Teil nicht ganz sauber waren.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und ruhig. In der Nähe gibt's nicht nur eine U-Bahn Station, den Park sondern auch viele pubs und Restaurants. Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und im Zimmer ist es erstaunlich ruhig.

Super Lage - aber etwas zu teuer.
Die Lage ist toll - sehr zentral mit Blick auf den Kensington Park. Bus und Tube in kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Wir hatten ein 3er Zimmer. Leider war das Zustellbett ausgesprochen hart und der Teppich ziemlich fleckig. Frühstück hatten wir nicht dazu gebucht. Personal aber sehr nett.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage, Haarföhn, Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Teesorten. Falls man keinen Adapter für GB dabei hat, an der Rezeption gibt es unendlich viele. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, aber zentral am Hyde Park mit Tube Anbindung Queensway in 2 Minuten Laufdistanz. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert. Wurden es jederzeit wieder buchen!
