DO NOT BE FOOLED - Protection fee is not refundable, the owner said it will be, but after numerous calls and email two weeks after the rental I found out its insurance policy. There was no welcome email or text or phone call. I had to call the owner to get access to the property. There is NO PRIVACY, the owner monitored us the entire stay through the surveillance camera they have in the backyard. Which we did not figure out till 2nd day because we took some chairs from inside to the deck. His reasoning was that the neighbor called him that is how he knew. Make sure you bring your kitchen supply because what they have you can cook for one person. And not to mention toilet paper, paper towels. No air conditions. Central AC was off the whole time. When we asked about it the owner's wife questioned if I know what central AC was and how it is operated. There was 1 propane tank for the grill when we called to ask if he had any back up, he said that we should not tell him what to do with his property. To follow up his wife called to tell us we do not get to ask what they should have in the house, later the owner threatens us to leave the property right away. We had to call VRBO and 911 to report this. This was so humiliating. Clearly the owner’s behavior was unacceptable, but we had to continue with the stay because we already had made the plan.
