Panoramic ocean views were incredible, even though the weather wasn’t. Home was clean and amenities were fantastic. The host replied almost instantly and was very helpful throughout our stay. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous secluded hideaway

This place was the perfect escape with amenities and an insanely beautiful view. It’s a close drive to shopping and restaurants while being far enough away that we didn’t see a soul.

Unique and beautiful property

Just the most beautiful setting to wake up to. Tennis court was really fun. Trail right next to the home was beautiful. House itself is just big enough for our family of 5. Sofa as the bed for our 5th only works for younger children in my opinion - not great for adults. Malibu and Palisades 15 min away. Can’t wait to stay here again!

What a fantastic place

We loved every minute at this beautiful house. Unfortunately, we happened to come during a week of uncharacteristically bad weather, but the views were still incredible. The house is gorgeous, spotless, and comfortable. The tennis court / basketball hoop were a big draw for our kids, and we enjoyed using the hot tub, even in the rain! The drive up to the property is a little intimidating at first, but we got used to it. Overall, a fantastic experience - many thanks!

Traded tennis court for beach house

We booked our Christmas week stay in October and a week before our scheduled arrival learned that the property had been double booked due to an error with VRBO. The owners were nice enough to offer us their Malibu beach house as a solution. We were disappointed at first as we’re looking forward to daily tennis, but agreed to accept the trade. The property manager Sarah was very apologetic for the error and made our arrival seamless and welcoming. What a fantastic time we had walking the beach and sleeping to the sound of waves. It all worked out and in retrospect we were so happy for the initial booking error and are forward to visiting again!

Relaxing getaway!

It was so great to come here with my family and get away from the chaos of LA on a holiday weekend. The views are spectacular and it was so relaxing staying here.

Peaceful little hideaway

My Mom, Daughter and I were over the moon with our stay at this lovely spot in Malibu. It was perfect for us because the spot was comfy, quiet and just the right size. We enjoyed the views of the ocean, played tennis on the private court and made some yummy meals in the kitchen. So grateful for the opportunity to say in this special place.

Serene hill-top refuge - incredible views

Recently enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely guest home. The house itself is cozy, stylish, and comfortable – well-equipped with all the necessities. The highlight for us were the outdoor spaces and amenities- an excellent tennis court, abundant and comfortable outdoor furniture, natural gas fire pit, and hot tub. Put together the amazing views to the ocean and nearby Mesa, the crisp Sea air, sunshine, and lovely Mediterranean ecosystem foliage do you have a recipe for blissful relaxation. Bring your binoculars as there are many great birds to enjoy as well. Resident hummingbirds were most entertaining. Owner, property manager, and support staff were helpful and friendly. From the perspective of “accessibility,” there are single steps to navigate at the entry and at some transitions inside. Not an issue for the able-bodied, but challenging for those with disabilities. The last mile or so up to the house is a narrow, winding Canyon Road so do plan to drive slowly and carefully. All in all this is a very special and wonderful place for a relaxing Malibu vacation. We are most grateful to the owners for sharing their lovelyGuest home with us.

Incredible experience

I can’t even put into words how special this rental is!!! The property is incredible. The views are unmatched. We had such an amazing time. Definitely get a rental car. Ubers are around but wouldn’t bet on them. The property has a hiking trail near by that is INSANE. The tennis court was so fun to use. Truly a special property. We will be back!

Beautiful views in dreamy location

Everything was wonderful - the view is gorgeous and you’re surrounded by trees and flowers so when we stayed the scent of lavender and orange blossoms wafted through the air. Everything is exactly as it looks in the photos and the bed is super comfy. We didn’t leave very much and cooked at home as the surroundings were so beautiful. It’s very remote - you’re at the top of a windy hill - so you feel very secluded and private. Highly recommend!

Up in the clouds with AMAZING views!

Our family was fully rejuvinated after our stay here in the barn house. It was hard to leave the amazing views and perfect weather. The house was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderfully placed allowing the views to be seen from every angle. There was also a fun small mountain top hike right outside the driveway that was great to start or end our day. You'll see mountain top views, street views and ocean views all along the way. Amazing!

Stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday and it couldn’t have been better. We were there in January so the fire pit and hot tub were perfect - especially at sunset. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Setting!!

We love this place. The setting with the view was fantastic. It was extremely private and the sitting area was delightful. We spend most of our time outside. I loved the it was air-conditioned. The place is smaller than we thought. It adjourns a very large house. We also had a shower that didn’t leaked the entire time. A lounge chair was broken. The patio area could have been cleaner. For the price, that should have all been repaired. The location was perfect!!

Tranquil Paradise
