Welcome to your hideaway in one of Long Beach’s historic Art Deco buildings, steps from the Convention Center and downtown, with a Walk Score of 90/100. This 475-sq-ft studio blends vintage character with modern comfort. The studio’s wraparound windows fill the space with sunshine, creating a vibe that’s both calming and bright. From its full chef’s kitchen to its eclectic décor gathered from our travels, we've curated the space with travelers in mind, creating a cozy, distinctive retreat.
The space
We’re looking forward to hosting you!
We’re a father–daughter duo originally from Argentina, now calling Los Angeles home. Our place is decorated with paintings and keepsakes from our travels.
Located in a designated Long Beach Historic Landmark, the studio blends the vintage charm of the over 100 years old building with a modern and comfortable living space. We love the building's many architectural details, including the two lion statues that guard the entrance.
Having stayed in countless Airbnbs ourselves, we’ve tried to anticipate what travelers appreciate most: a space that feels both stylish and homey. We've prioritized comfort with a premium mattress, wireless internet, and essentials such as tea, coffee, bottled water, and toiletries.
The space features:
Chef’s Kitchen: Full-size range, refrigerator, cooking and coffee-making essentials (plus bottled water and tea).
Sleeping Area: A comfortable queen bed with a high-quality mattress, designed for a restful night’s sleep.
Work & Connectivity: High-speed Wi-Fi perfect for remote work or streaming.
Heating & Cooling: Provided through a newly installed Midea Unit that efficiently heats and cools the entire space.
Building & Shared Spaces: The studio is in a historic Art Deco building. Guests will have access to a shared solarium, library, and rooftop with stunning views of the Long Beach harbor and the Queen Mary. We love these spaces for relaxing with a good book or enjoying a change of scenery.
Personalized Local Guide: We love sharing our favorite Long Beach and LA spots. We speak English, Spanish, and French, and are always happy to help!
Guest access: Guests will have full, private access to the studio. The building has a shared entrance and common areas, including the lobby and rooftop, which are accessible to all residents and guests.
Other things to note
Parking: While the building does not have a dedicated parking space, parking in the area is generally easy. Metered street parking is available nearby (free overnight on Ocean Blvd and Seaside Way), and the Pike Outlets public garage is a convenient 2-block walk with a daily maximum of about $16.
The studio is located in Downtown Long Beach, within walking distance of the Convention Center, Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary, restaurants, cafés, and waterfront paths. While the studio is not beachfront, the ocean and sand are nearby and easy to reach on foot or with a short ride.
Some city noise may be heard at night. A sound machine, earplugs and sleep masks are provided for light sleepers.
This is a quiet residential building, and we ask guests to be mindful of neighbors, especially in the evenings. The studio is best suited for solo travelers or couples. Parties and events are not permitted.
