âVery clean. Loved the tub. Nice to have owners close/on site. Much better than dealing with a "rental company". Very spacious without feeling like wasted space. Just and FYI, if you're coming in winter, pay attention to the weather. The driveway can be a little dicey with snow. â

âThe Captainâs Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)âŠ. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captainâs Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie ...

âWe stayed at the Rec Farm for a short family stay for new years 2026. The cabin is cute, the long drive way into the property is nice, the cabin sits back away from the main street. I have 2 teen boys that enjoyed the Rec building; although it is not connected to the main house and it was below freezing all weekend. Inside, the cabin was ok; it was a smaller than I expected from viewing the pictures, but enough room for our family with 3 bedrooms. One of the bedroom windows did not stay ...

âVery cozy and warm! Beautifully decorated and very clean! Loved the fire pit and that all we had to do was light it. Bed was very comfortable as was the double recliner. Great place for a romantic getaway in the cold winter months! We did not take advantage of the kitchen, but it looked like it had everything you could need if you wanted to cook some meals.â
