Excellent hotel in perfect location. The hotel lies at the edge of the walled old town. If you go by car, better type into Google Maps Carabinieri Nucleo Forestale, Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi. Otherwise Google Maps will direct you completely through the old town with very narrow streets. Reception was very friendly and helpful, we could leave our cars in the hotel’s car parking even after checking out.

Hotel direkt im lten Stadtkern von Lucca
Der Service im Hotel ist top. Auch die Lage ist nicht zu schlagen. Direkt in der Altstadt gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder. :-)

Kompfort und Sauberkeit sind top, das Frühstück "unitalienisch" gut, selten so freundliches Personal angetroffen, durch die Lage an der Stadtmauer ist Zufahrt möglich, ohne in die Fussgängerzone zu fahren.

Gepflegtes Hotel in bester Lage
sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer guten Innenstadtlage. Es ist auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, leider fehlen auf der Homepage Hinweise, dass man mit Navi eine abweichende Adresse als Zielort angeben muss, da das Hotel über die üblich Route nicht ohne Berechtigungsschein erreichbar ist.

perfektes Stadthotel
Das Stadthotel San Luca Palace ist ideal gelegen zum Erkunden der Altstadt von Lucca. Das Zimmer samt Badezimmer war gross, sauber und die Betten perfekt. Das Personal in allen Belangen hilfreich und nicht ganz typisch für Italien war das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet. Hotel kann von mir empfohlen werden.

We didn’t have hot water in the room, no soap and we had to ask for towel for the extra guest which I paid extra for. The charge you for everything extra and the service was not quite good.

Beautiful hotel within the city walls.
This is a very nice hotel just inside the city walls, in an excellent location. The staff was very helpful and professional, and the junior suite I occupied was way beyond my expectations. Excellent breakfast with many good choices.

Great location in an historic hotel
From check in to check out - it was wonderful. This building dates back to 1514 - yet it has every convenience. The breakfast was also outstanding. It is convenient, and has parking. I would stay again in a minute!

Opção para conhecer a linda cidade de Lucca
Hotel com posição ótima dentro das muras de Lucca . Estacionamento do lado do hotel facilitando muito já que na cidade só entram carros de moradores e autorizados . Funcionários muito educados e prestativos . Café da manhã excelente . Quarto espaçoso. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar neste hotel.

really sorry to read about air conditioning problem in your room.Hotel hss air conditioning still on. you can regulate the air c. from the room turning the thermostat on minus 1-2-3-4 from the zero point.A.C. can be off if you leave windows open (there is a sensor for the energy saving).Kind Regards

A great place for 2 nights in Lucca. Just inside the city walls so easy access. Roberto at reception was so helpful firstly when our allotted parking space wasn’t accessible due to the way other guests had parked and when our departure flight was cancelled. He co tasted the car rental for us and called once we were on the road to let us know he had done so. Service 10/10.

The hotel is charming, the room is large and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is large and well appointed. All the physical things are very good, but the real treat of this hotel is the staff: friendly, accommodating, helpful, and thoughtful. We had trouble finding the way into the city of Lucca and Roberto, from the hotel, guided us in and came out to the street to greet us. Wonderful welcome.

Hotel di grande charme con possibilità (a pagamento) di parcheggio interno per l'auto, cosa rara a Lucca dentro-le-mura. In ogni caso l'hotel è di facilissimo accesso, perché si trova appena dopo la Porta Sant'Anna (Vittorio Emanuele II), all'inizio dell'area pedonale). La struttura, elegantemente decorata e arredata in coerenza con un palazzo d'epoca, si trova in un edificio in parte risalente al Cinquecento, ampliato e modificato nei secoli. Tutto il personale è molto professionale, cordiale, disponibile. Eccellente la prima colazione a buffet. Da consigliare senza riserve, anche per l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Siamo stati accolti dal direttore e da tutto il personale, con estrema gentilezza e professionalità. L’hotel è nuovo, molto bello, in posizione comodissima all’inizio del centro storico. La camera ampia, dotata di tutto e soprattutto, molto silenziosa anche con l’affaccio sulla via. Colazione perfetta con servizio ottimo e attento da parte della sig.ra Maria.
