« The host is prompt and professional with communication. The property is very clean and the a/c works nicely in the main bedroom that we use. It’s a great location for a quick stroll to dinner after a day in the car in transit. Will stay again! »

« My daughter and I found the perfect place to get some R&R before she headed off for college. My father passed away the week before, and it was absolutely perfect timing in the most exquisite location in Coastal Georgia. The Thicket Cottage is more than we ever dreamed it would be. « This is a great property to stay at. It is as advertised and immaculately clean. The amenities here are numerous and the bed was comfortable. The hosts have gone above and beyond to accommodate guests. We loved it and would definitely stay again. »

« We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave! »

« This was our third time starting at this house. We love it, just like before. Fishing all day, playing games at night (tons available at the house) or watching funny videos on YouTube in the cozy living room. I drew the blinds up in the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen, because all have the beautiful marsh and the river out back. Love the kitchen at this house too. Loaded up on blue crabs, Bait shops just minutes away. Perfect vacation! »

« The property was in a lovely spot on the marsh and was open and comfortable. There was plenty of space for 3 couples and we really appreciated the willingness of the host to let us use bicycles, kayaks, and binoculars. We enjoyed exploring the nature in the area and opted to go to the beach within an easy drive since our weekend turned out to be so warm. A lovely stay! »

« Great time with my seven grand daughters ((and granddaughters in law and potential granddaughters in law). Played lots of games, made souvenier t-shirts and ate too well. A few bugs (squeamish girls!) and the house could be updated a bit, but it appeared to be very clean with lots of comforts and a very well equipped kitchen. Mornings on the dock were delightful and the changing tides made the view different everytime we were there. Loved our time together!!! »

« We absolutely enjoyed our time at this home. It was fantastic to witness the coming and going of the tides in the marsh and the wildlife at different times of the day. The screened back porch was phenomenal. We deeply appreciated the wonderful hospitality and were thrilled to make memories in GA! »

« This place is adorable! I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my husband, our two children (a toddler and a baby), my mom, and our dogs. We found it to be comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet and cozy, yet still big enough for everybody to spread out. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, he was quick to respond to all my questions. We very much enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Hinesville, particularly if traveling with children and pets. »

« Although we only stayed over night on our way home, we found the home cheerful and comfortable. The complementary healthy snacks and coffee were a thoughtful touch. We had everything we needed to recharge from a long drive. We appreciated the fenced in yard since we were traveling with a pet. The home was spotless and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We would stay again if our travels take us in that direction. »

« This is an amazing property. Check in/out was super easy. The home was spotless and smelled clean when we arrived. The hosts had added welcoming touches that was so appreciated. The bedrooms were roomy and decorated nicely .The huge back yard was wonderful. The screened in porch was beautiful and we spent much of our time out there. The most used area was the pool.
