Shenandoah Solitude dans les montagnes Blue Ridge

Shenandoah Solitude est une belle cabane de vacances nichée dans les bois avec une vue magnifique de 20 miles sur la vallée de Shenandoah, les montagnes Blue Ridge et la puissante rivière Shenandoah. Bien que suffisamment grande pour accueillir des groupes de 8 personnes, cette cabine est suffisamment confortable pour vous faire sentir au chaud et à l'aise. Vous oublierez tout sur le travail, la circulation et tout ce qui est rentré chez vous. Je vous garantis que vous ne voudrez plus partir - nous ne voulons jamais!

La cabine offre 3 chambres privées, 2 salles de bain complètes, des équipements modernes, une intimité totale et isolée, une allée pavée, un bain à remous et une télévision à écran plat. Il n'y a pas de voisins en vue, peu importe où vous vous trouvez sur la propriété.

Un très grand lit, deux grands lits et un grand canapé-lit peuvent accueillir confortablement 6 personnes. Nous disposons de lits supplémentaires pour un maximum de 8 personnes. La cuisine offre des installations modernes et un grand espace avec four, réfrigérateur et micro-ondes. Si vous préférez cuisiner à l'extérieur, nous vous proposons des barbecues au gaz et au charbon de bois. Pendant que vous êtes là-bas, vous pouvez jouer à des fers à cheval dans la fosse à fers professionnelle, ou vous défier dans une partie de cornhole (Cornhole est disponible en été!)

La nuit, asseyez-vous avec vos amis ou vos proches dans le bain à remous tout en regardant les lumières de la vallée ou les étoiles au-dessus. Les jours de pluie, il reste encore beaucoup à faire à l’intérieur. Regardez des télévisions haute définition avec chaînes satellite, jouez à des jeux de société, lisez des livres ou passez du temps devant la cheminée. Il y a un téléphone fixe avec appels locaux et longue distance gratuits. Une nouvelle connexion Wi-Fi haut débit vient d'être installée. N'hésitez pas à diffuser de la musique ou des films pendant votre séjour!

Profitez de superbes vues sur les montagnes et les levers de soleil depuis les ponts couverts. Faites un grand feu de camp et racontez des histoires à vos amis tard dans la soirée!

Incredible view!!!

The house is very comfortable and accommodated the four of us with plenty of room to spread out. The property is gorgeous, with trails that lead to the horseshoe pit and fire pit, as well as more incredible views of the mountains and valley below. The back decks (upper and lower levels) provide amazing views of the mountains, and the sunrise is worth getting up early to see! The almost 2-mile road to get to the house is a little treacherous, and either front-wheel or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. The owners were very responsive when we had a question about check-in. Great location, too! We would return in a heartbeat!

An astonishing view!!

My wife and I have stayed in more than a few cabins in the past and I have to say, so far this was definitely one of our favourite places. If there was a way to leave 10 stars, I would. The place has an amazing view, not only from a deck below but also from the balcony and the bedroom upstairs. We were also very touched by a little sign of “welcome” on the kitchen counter personalising my name. And we definitely appreciated finding a pile of sticks near the fire pit prepared in order to help with fire. That was very thoughtful. This will definitely be place to visit again!

Nice Home in the Mountains

The house was very clean, and the view was nice. The host was communicative and responsive, which we really appreciated. During our stay, the hot tub did not work which was disappointing but the host was quick to respond and ultimately provided some compensation for the inconvenience. A few things that may be helpful to know - the fireplace did not always turn on since it was on a thermestat (the temp in the room had to be pretty cold for it to ignite), the third bedroom is the basement/bottom floor, and the roads leading up to the house are a bit treacherous. These were not issues for us, but may be helpful to know.

Shenandoah Solitude Lives Up to the Name

My husband and I booked this for a weekend retreat away without our littles. Out in the middle of nowhere, we were surrounded by forest, wildlife, and complete quiet. We enjoyed seeing sooo many stars in the sky from the warmth of the hot tub on a cold Winter's night. We enjoyed quiet reading with HOT coffee (a luxury when a mom of littles), while enjoying the scenic mountainscape from the giant east-facing window. As recommended in the listing, AWD or 4x4 is definitely necessary if it's anticipated to be muddy or snowy. The accommodation was well appointed, with a binder full of helpful information and things to do. We enjoyed the fire pit, foosball table, and cards. The Smart TV was clutch on a playoff football weekend. We left feeling incredibly connected, refreshed, relaxed, and even a little sad to go. We will definitely be back!

Surprisingly clean

I mean I don't wanna make it sound like I expected it to be dirty, but I expected it to be cobwebby and buggy; it's a mountain, not a lab. But you can look at the ceiling beams, the top of the A-frame... spotless. Even the exterior lights. Made me not want to go home and face my own mess.

Perfect

Woukdnt have changed a thing. The cabin was very clearly well taken care of. I loved that everything was labeled (light switches, controls, etc..) the view is what you see in movies and it's so quiet and peaceful. My husband and I go away to a cabin every year for our anniversary and this is by far the best. We normally like to go somewhere different every year but we already decided wed be back to the shenandoah solitude.

Best place we have rented yet

This house was amazing. From the views, the sunrises over Shenandoah National park while enjoying coffee, relaxing in the hottub after a day of hiking, or just sitting by the firepit looking down on the valley or up at the stars while my wife made smores. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. We made breakfast every morning and cooked dinner twice with no issues or struggles. We actually preferred to hang out at the house vs going out. The road to get to it is dirt/gravel and has some steep areas

What a View!

Wonderful views! Peaceful, nature surrounded, nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, and super cozy cabin. Easy communication with the property management company. Community road leading to the cabin is unpaved and steep at times so 4x4 highly recommended. Downtown Luray is nearby with a couple of restaurants and a brewery, grocery stores close by, and the entrance to the Shenandoah park is within 10-15 minutes drive! Perfect location.

Fantastic Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I booked this place for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We took the long winding road up the mountain trail and after about a mile and half we made it to the house. First off, the view, just wow! Overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, it took our breath away. The outdoor layout was awesome with multiple trails to the firepit (plenty of wood stocked!). The interior of the house was very charming with bedrooms available on each floor. We spent most of the time sitting on the swing, relaxing in the hot tub or sitting around the firepit. Three days was not enough and my wife has already requested we return for our next wedding anniversary. High marks all around!

Incredible Mountain Retreat!

This home is an amazing rental. Beautiful views, plenty of room, very clean and well appointed with everything that you need. Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Grill, Decks, Swing, full nice kitchen, amazing primary bedroom. This place is a winner!

Relaxing escape from the city

My husband and I had a relaxing 4th of July weekend! Our dog loved exploring the property! We went hiking and loved going in to downtown Luray! We had a amazing time at Hawksbill Brewery for a four course dinner pairing! Waking up every morning to the views of the mountains was amazing!

A Peaceful Stay in Shanendoah

Property is in a great location. Cant beat the views from the house. House was clean and comfortable overall but gets quite hot with the sun coming in thru the main window and the A/C isn’t all that effective. Recommend a screen door be installed on the sliding glass door so that it can remain open to allow for fresh air to come in without letting the bugs in. Lowest level toilet did not always flush.

Cute cozy cabin with an amazing view, close to everything but entirely secluded.

The cabin was beautiful and so cozy. The fireplace is easily turned on and off which makes it something we actually used quite a bit, especially on the one rainy afternoon. The view was amazing and the sunrise over the mountains was unbelievable. Hot tub was perfect. Grilling and cornhole made for a really great day in. Completely secluded but the location was so close to everything we wanted to visit as soon as we left the neighborhood. The only thing we had real issues with was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I read the reviews and expected some bugs in the jacuzzi tub, we are in the woods with air conditioning units they can sneak in through. So I cleaned the tub out before use and ran the jets. Once I actually got in with soap and hotter water, black specks of mold came out of the jets. Our shower was clogged before any use. That was not an enjoyable part of our experience.
