« The property is secluded and very quiet and lovely for a weekend get away. No tv which we found a nice change. The seating inside the cottage wasn't great for us, being in our 60's, it would have been nice to have a lounge to sit and snuggle up on. Overall a really nice place, very clean and tidy and the host was friendly and very helpful. »

« What a fantastic spot! The hosts were friendly and caring. We had a Tesla and needed somewhere to charge overnight, so they organised for us to charge from a nearby PowerPoint - just make sure you bring an extension lead as the carport is a little way from the cottages. The cottage was well-appointed and the view was spectacular. Thanks for a great weekend! »

« What I like the most was how welcoming the couple were. They even wanted us to stay longer for free. Not everything is about money but having happy guests. I love it , relaxing, fresh eggs and lot of different fresh foods. Clean and beautiful nature. I love it very much and thanks for the wonderful service. I even plan something special for my wife with flowers and champagne and it was outstanding. I love it »

« We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time. »

« Set just down the hill from Montville village, this cute cottage is well-located with a lovely view over the forests to the west of the range. The gazebo offers lovely shade in the middle of the day and has spectacular views of sunsets. There are several other garden tables and chairs for a slightly different view for each cup of tea, coffee or your favourite beverage. There's lots to do in the area. We'd highly recommend the Maleny Botatanic Gardens and Bird World as well as a browse through...

« Possums retreat is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a great location and close to everything you need. The fire place and the hydrotherapy spa was a massive win for us. Most importantly, the communication with the owners was exceptional. They even supplied a hamper with fresh fruit, danishes, crossiants and a freshly homemade loaf of bread which was super delicious. Amazing weekend away!! A massive thanks to the Owners Linda and Antony. We'll be back for sure. »

« Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper. »

« Such a lovely spot only a few minutes outside Maleny, just past the Showgrounds. You enter down a bit of a hidden driveway, the property sits on 2 acres of gardens - we had the whole ground floor which included 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 seating areas inside, dining area, kitchen and laundry. Outside and in the gardens there are so many places to sit and just enjoy the ambience. King Ludwigs German restaurant is only a 5 minute drive, on the same road. - We did dinner and went back the next day...

« Everything was disappointing. Rooms look and feel like a depressing 80 year old couple's appartment in the 1970s. Walls and windows are paperthin in this very cheap building, so expect waking up with the birds from the backstreet alley in the morning. Nothing was on par with a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. This classification should absolutely reevaluated since it's a shame for real 4-stars to be compared to such a cheap and ugly place. »
