Mitten in der Natur
Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage . Man fühlt sich wie mitten in den Bergen und ist aber nur einige Minuten mit dem Auto vom Ort entfernt. Eine Woche war viel zu kurz , durch die schöne Landschaft inspiriert wurde aus unserer Woche Badeurlaub eine Wanderwoche . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Aufenthalt in der Els Casals im Juli 23
Wir waren 8 Nachre zu sechst in der Els Casals. Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich schön. Die Natur, die Stille und die wunderschöne Aussicht hat uns verzaubert. Wir haben uns sehr gut entspannt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ländlich und hat Charme. Was ich aber sagen möchte, wir hätten uns gewunscht, dass es sauberer wäre. Die Handtucher, Decken, Bettwasche sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. In dem Haus herrscht ein sehr intensiver Geruch wie in alter Kirche bzw einem Museum. Trorz allem hatten wir tolle Tage in der Unterkunft und unsere Familie hat es richtig genossen.

Familienurlaub/ 3Generationen
Wir haben vom 1. Tag an die Unterkunft und die herrliche Umgebung genossen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, dass wir sogar einen Kuchen herstellen konnten. Der Pool ist täglich genutzt worden. Sehr freundlich ist Favier, der Besitzer. Die Kinder sind knapp 3 und 1Jahr alt.

Wundervoller Ort zum Entspannen
Unser Urlaub war wunderbar! Der Kontakt zu Javier war super!!! Man ist in einer Idylle aus Bergen und hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Die Finca bietet mehr als genügend Platz und ist sehr authentisch ausgestattet. Ursprünglicher kann man sich eine Finca kaum vorstellen. Der Service vor Ort, wie eine wöchentliche Reinigung, ist ungewöhnlich gut! Ob der sehr einzigartigen Lage sind Lebensmittelläden und weitere wichtige für den alltäglichen Bedarf schnell erreichbar. Wir werden das läuten der Ziegen Glocken und die zirpenden Grillen vermissen! Danke Javier

Haus mit mallorquinischem Charme
Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Finca sehr genossen. Der Blick auf die Berge, der Pool und das Zirpen der Zikaden sind einfach toll. Auch in der Küche ist zum Kochen alles vorhanden. Guillermo ist ein guter Gastgeber und sofort zur Stelle, wenn etwas fehlt. Wir haben uns in der Finca sehr wohlgefühlt, haben die Ruhe genossen und einen tollen Urlaub gehabt….

Romantisches, aber sehr einfache Unterkunft
Die Finca liegt wunderbar in der Natur, abgelegen und ruhig umgeben von Schafen und Ziegen. Der Aussenbereich inkl. Pool ist toll. Das Haus sollte man nur buchen wenn man große Abstriche an Komfort und Funktion eines Haushalts machen will. Es ist wunderschön, aber renovierungsbedürftig.

Wundervolle ruhig gelegene Finca
Wer es gerne ruhig und ursprünglich hat, wird in dieser wirklich alten mallorkischen Finca einen Traumurlaub verbringen. Die Finca liegt abseits in den Bergen, nach Pollenca sind es 6km - ein wirklich entzückendes kleines Städtchen. In der Finca war alles wunderbar und genau so wie beschrieben. Die Eigentümer sind äußerst bemüht und Hilfsbereit. Wenn man mit einem Boot die Nordküste erkundet, wird man atemberaubende Buchten finden, ohne Boot ist es schwierig nette und nicht überfüllte Strände zu finden. Dann ist es besser man erholt sich in der schönen Finca am Pool und erfreut sich an den Schafen die einen besuchen kommen!

Eine sehr schöne und ruhig gelegene Finca
Wir waren mit 8 Personen zum 3.mal in der Finca und haben uns wie immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist toll gelegen und man hat seine absolute Ruhe. Der Ausblick ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Das Haus ist von der Straße nicht einsehbar. Wenn man das typische Mallorca kennenlernen möchte, ist man hier genau richtig. Nach Pollenca rein sind es nur rund 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dort findet man alles was man braucht. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Nicely located but poor equipment and heating
The house is nicely located in the middle of a great landscape, a great place to relax. The outdoor part of the house is really nice and charming embedded in pure nature. Javier welcomed us and was available throughout the whole stay, whenever we had a problem or questions. But there were some facts that made us feel uncomfortable: - we stayed there at the beginning of may and the wheather was quite cold. In the house it was even colder as the finca with its thick walls doesn't really warm up. During the night we had a heater in our bedroom which was limited to 7 hours per night. During the day the heating didn't work at all, also not in the other rooms where we stayed during the day (especially on cold and rainy days). When we asked them to enable the heating function they started a discussion that the webside would state that the heating is only available during the nights and that heating during the day is too expensive. What she obviously was not taking into account was that the house was only occupied by two peoole but for the same price as for 8 people. The discussion was led quite agressively by the mother of Javier. We insisted and said that we were freezing and that we therefore don't feel very comfortable. Finally they enabled the heating. This turned the rooms a little warmer but it turned out that the capacity of the heating is not enough for the house. - the webside says that there are chimneys in the house. There are in fact numerous chimneys, but Javier told us that they don't work. - the equipment of the house is quite old and partially needs to be renewed. ->The equipment of the kitchen is old and in bad shape. E.g. we had to buy knifes to have something that cuts properly, cooking utensils are very old. -> the furniture (e.g. the sofa) is quite worn and should be partially renewed -> the woollen blankets on the beds are also quite old and dirty. They should either be washed or renewed. In total, the outdoor part of the house is very nice. But the heating is a problem and the equipment of the house is quite poor - especially for the price. Definitely not a good choice in colder times of the year.

First of all. Thank you for review. We´re sorry to know that you felt umcomfortable during you stay or Els Casals. But you can be sure our aim is to make our guests feel as confortable as if they were at home. The heating is on , as you say , at night , which usually is more than suficient during this time of the year. The weather you had during your stay was not normal at all in May , as normally is hotter than it was this year. But even so , we were more than happy to swich it on for 24 h. Els Casals is an old farmhouse (XIX century) and most of its furniture is the original from that dates , so some are quite antique , but still funcional , and not old at all. We are surprised about your comments on the kitcken equipament , as we renew , it every season and also surprised about your comment on the blankets as those are sent to the laundry at the end of each season and you were the first guests this year. We really hope you give us another chance to welcome you in a not so far futures so you can check yourself that all the issues that make you feel uncomfortable are not usuall all at Els Casals. Wir hatten eine herrliche Zeit in dieser wundervollen Finca. Die Lage ist traumhaft, der Garten voll duftender Pflanzen, die Finca ursprünglich und komfortabel, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Vermieter waren sehr gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Remote and beautiful surrounding
Relaxing and joyfull! We loved to sit on the terrace and the atmospere in the old house from 1844 was charming and cool. The pool was small but chill. Every morning we heard the sheeps and goats and that was so lovely. Thanks for the wonderful holiday.

Stunning villa
We had a really lovely week at Els Casals. The villa is gorgeous, full of character, in the most beautiful setting overlooking a valley and mountains. We enjoyed the pool which had some nice shade from an olive tree. The sheep were lovely to hear baa-ing with their clangy bells. So sweet. We loved the town of Pollenca, the port and the beach at Formentor. Xavier was a good host, very welcoming and helpful. We heartily recommend staying here.

Maison authentique et vue magnifique
Belle maison authentique avec vue magnifique sur les montagnes et en pleine nature. Chambres et salle d'eau adjacente, un plus pour une grande famille (nous étions 7). Barbecue un peu vieillot. Une plancha sera un plus. En cette période sèche, pas de petit cours d'eau ou cascade (comme sur les photos). A 10 minutes du port de Pollensa, 25 minutes de Formentor et 20 minutes d'Alcudia en voiture. Le début du chemin est assez accidenté et devient correct dès le début de la propriété.

Très agréable, calme absolu cadre authentique
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison, nous tuons 2 familles de 4 et l'accueil de Javier. Terrasse avec vue époustouflante, Piscine très bien, climatisation dans chaque chambre. La maison est rustique mais ce qui fait le charme. Bien située pour découvrir la région de Pollença. Points d'attention, beaucoup de marches entre chaque pièce, terrasses. Barbecue un peu trop Rustique, une plancha serait un plus. En gros si vous chercher calme et authenticité foncez.

Breathtaking views!
I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible space. The location is perfect, placed high up on a hill overlooking a valley with farms and other residences. Waking in the early morning to the sounds of the clinking cow bells (I think they were in goats, however) and watching the sun rise, casting its glow over the mountains on the other side of the valley will be missed! We reside in Boulder, Colorado, and are no stranger to gorgeous views, but this was breathtaking. The home is a very large, old structure, that allowed my imagination to roam about, to a time that seemed simpler, and perhaps less complicated. The entire family fell in love with the house and it’s grounds right away. Everything that we needed was present, and when the house needed a minor repair, the manager attended to it promptly, and was very quick with communication. I recommend this beautiful space to any hopeless romantic wanting to experience a more authentic view of the local life in Majorca!

Outstanding location
The Farm is a remarkable experience. Perfectly placed for Pollensa town and the port. The gardens are romantic and the view from the pool is probably one of the most spectacular I've seen. The house is comfortable with a practical kitchen. The sheep enjoyed watching me cook. It has a very homely atmosphere while immersed in Mallorcan history. The owners are very nice and accommodating. One of my favourite rentals. Thank you 🙏

Nous recommandons vivement la maison de Javier. En effet, nous avons séjourné deux semaines, en famille, dans sa ravissante propriété Le cadre préservé, en pleine nature, est enchanteur. La vue depuis la maison, depuis sa terrasse, et depuis sa piscine est extraordinaire. La maison ne manque pas de charme. Elle est très fonctionnelle pour une famille nombreuse (six personnes). L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir le Nord de l'île. Encore un grand merci à Javier pour sa gentillesse et la qualité de son accueil.

Lovely rural farm
The property was in a great location close to Pollenca. The owners were lovely people who made a special effort to ensure we were all ok. They even brought us vegetables from the farm and brought toys for the children to play with in the house and pool. A few things to note if you are travelling with a mixed group: - The wifi is not very fast so you can not stream, download - The air conditioning is not switched on until 9pm, not great if you are there and its very hot - There are stairs going into every room of the house (mainly stone), so again if you are there with the elderly or young children its not ideal - The farm has a resident cat - There are many ants and mosquitos in the summer months, so go prepared with deet!

A beautiful house with fantastic views
We loved our stay at Els Casals. It feels remote while being only a 5 minute drive from Pollensa. The place is a great old ‘Finca’ with thick stone walls and lovely terraces. The pool was a big plus, with a nice sun terrace and a great outlook. Javier was friendly and helpful, and came running to help when we had a big storm ( power cut and flooding !) The BBQ was good and the bedrooms spacious. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with loads of glasses and plates, though another chopping/bread board would be useful. We were surprised however at the lack of any scourer/cleaner, washing up liquid, bin bags and loo roll. I would consider these to be bare essentials - that you would not necessarily buy en route to the rental property. (We had to ask for the loo rolls on arrival. Could have been a bit tricky had we not noticed !) But these are small niggles in the overall scheme of things. I would definitely recommend Els Casals to anyone looking for a piece of ‘real’ Mallorca.

Fantastic holiday location!
We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful rural property. The property was clean and well equipped with ample space and bathrooms for the number of bedrooms. The pool is a little small, however, it is fabulously positioned to make the most of the stunning views and our children loved playing in it. The location allows for complete relaxation as it is so peaceful, just the local wildlife and goat bells as background noise. We would definitely re-book if we were to visit this area of Majorca again.

Beautiful villa in the most stunning setting, a perfect week that we didn't want to end!
We had the most amazing week in early June 2018 staying at Els Casals. As a group of 8 friends in their mid-20's we couldn't have asked for a more perfect and peaceful setting to spend our week in Pollensa. The villa surroundings are so beautiful, it is situated up a country road with almost no other villas in sight, the only noises you can hear are the birds and the sheep running around with bells on their necks! The pool is just perfect and the outdoor seating area with the views is so great. The villa itself was extremely clean and had so much rustic charm but with the addition of modern bathrooms and great amenities such as a dishwasher we honestly could not fault anything about it. The villa is a 10 minute drive to Pollensa old town and about 15-20 minutes to Peurto Pollensa making it the perfect location for exploring. It is really its own little paradise that we felt so lucky to be staying in and we are already discussing when we might be able to come back and stay here again! Thank you for the amazing service, we will never forget our week here!

Wonderful location, very peaceful, stunning views of the mountains yet still close to Pollença
The best thing about Els Casals is the situation. Sitting by the pool, or eating al fresco, there are stunning views of the Serra de Tramuntana. The pictures on this website are very true to life. The villa is on an extremely quiet road (only a few other villas use it) five minutes up from the main Ma10 - far enough so there is no road noise, but close enough so you can be parked up in Pollença in only 15 minutes. The villa itself has all the amenities that a family would need (including very welcome air conditioning in the bedrooms for the evening), the decor/furnishings are a little tired but I think that is reflected in the price - this villa really is great value and suited our family of 2 Adults and 4 children (aged 6-15) perfectly. Javier was very helpful - available but unobtrusive. The pool was cleaned 2/3 times in the fortnight we were there, and we had two changes of linen/towels. This part of Mallorca is a great holiday location. Although we felt nice and remote, we were only a short drive away from restaurants, markets, shops, beaches and very well stocked supermarkets. And on the one day it rained, it took less than one hour to drive into Palma to see this beautiful city.

Stay with no happy end
This charming villa is located in a beautiful natural reserve with amazing views over the valley. We stayed here for two weeks and had a nice time until we got robbed in the house. This whole experience was a huge pity to us because we liked the house but we did not feel safe anymore and had to take our belongings with us all the time.

Regarding your comment about the robbery , we are really sorry on what happened , but it has been a very strange thing , as there were nothing forced to get in the house , not even the police could find any signal of robbery apart from the inside safe locker which seemed to be forced. Fantastic house with stunning views.
We stayed here in early May for 1 week. The house is located on a hill in the mountains of Mallorca. You can reach the house via a small lane with cypress and olive trees. It is a very quiet place , there are no direct neighboors and you will hear no traffic, the only noice comes from a local goat with a bell round his neck. In the garden there are lovely smelling flowers from blooming trees and there are also lemon trees. Because the house is located in the mountains and in early spring it can be chilly in the evening. also the water of the swimming pool can be a little cold. However the views from the garden to the surrounding mountains are fantastic. The house is located nearby Polenca and also the beaches are easy to reach. The house is very central located to visit the main attractions of Mallorca. We loved this place very much

Great house with fantastic views
We stayed at Els Casals for two weeks in july with two families with kids. We had a great time swimming in the pool and have dinner at the terras. A small road from the main road from Pollenca to Lluc leads up to the house. The house has fantastic views from the pool and terras. The house itself is comfortable and is equiped with almost everything you need. It stays relatively cool during the hottest hours of the day. The bedrooms stay cool at night with airco which start automatically at around 10 PM. Javier is a good host. We were well received by him and he came by the house on a number of occasions. We didn't need his assitance during the stay but he is there to help you out and give tips. From the house it is only 6 minutes drive to Pollenca which is a nice little town. Not overly touristic, but enough to have nice little shops and good restaurants. The beaches in Mallorca are very busy in July. The best and quietest beaches we visited was Cala Mesquida (1 hour drive near Arta) and Cala Tuent (pebble beach, 45 minutes). Othe beaches nearby are Cala Formentor and the beach of Port de Pollenca. The are crowded but nice. Also for cycling the house is a good starting point. The Col de Femenia starts at the house and the Sa Calobra, Puig Major and all climbs in the northern part of the serra the Tramuntana are within reach. All in all we had a great holiday and can certainly recommend the house.
