« The 18th century appearance of this inn evokes old style romanticism. The bar and dining area reflect the same. The food is honest pub fare. The room still smelled fresh from a recent renovation. The room was clean and the super king bed was very comfortable. Definitely worth the visit and keenly priced. »

« Lovely hidden gem, really central location, good size, modern rooms with very comfy beds. The free breakfast is amazing, so many options freshly made with juices, hot drinks and cereals also available. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Manchester »

« I've been to the Abel Heywood for food and drinks many times but this is the first time I've stayed over. It won't be the last time. The room was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean, very well appointed - tea makings, a nice en suite and plenty of wardrobe space, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Even though it's located in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended »

« Fabulous stay. Everything was perfect from dinner to breakfast. However I do find the £25.00 surcharge for a dogs stay a little hefty. A welcome pack is offered but not forthcoming sadly »

« Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning. Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay again when in the area. »
