We needed somewhere to stay just for a couple of nights. The property is clean and comfortable. Hot water situation is hit and miss. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No AC but this didn’t matter when we were there as it was cool enough to just have a fan on which was provided. Breakfast was excellent at an extra cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mandeview. The property was exceptionally clean, my room was very cozy. The bed was comfortable. I slept so well. The view from the hotel is breathtaking! I didn’t have a view from my room like I hoped but I felt very safe and well taken care of. The breakfast in the morning was an authentic Jamaican breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I felt like I was at home with my grandma. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Property was located in a quiet area. Efficient and friendly staff as the owner. All concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Some upgrades such as mosquito nets and stable hot water periodically. An onsite full restaurant would enhance ones stay. Delicious local cuisine breakfasts were enjoyed.

I had initially booked my stay an Mandeview Hotel for a weekend. However, I ended up staying for a week because the room is very comfy and cozy and is extremly clean. Not to mention the lovely view of Mandeville from the rooftop of the hotel, the friendly staff, and well secured environment. Furthermore, the great food. Mrs Marcia Myers is so pleasant and accomodating and I can't wait to stay here again ~

Our second time at this hotel. it is safe, clean and location is great, it is about ten minutes drive from town on the top of the hill with an awesome view. The amenities need some attention. Towels and wash cloths are very old. hot water doesn't stay hot and the TV didn't work. The staff is very friendly.

Loved this place. The staff were super friendly and the location was just perfect. Cool, quiet and there was hot water!! If you're travelling to the area for business, this is a great option to consider.

I liked nothing about the hotel, which is a house converted into a "hotel", the location was not ideal to the town. Did not spend a night there, because it was unsafe, room very small, unclean. So I wasted/lost $400

When u arrived you told the SECURITY you made an error, you needed a hotel in the town center firstly even before seeing the room assigned. Security greeted, yet you were unsafe: Didn't stay in room, yet room unclean. Truth, you were taken to room, u (looked in) saw a 12x12 room which is standard size(considered it small) and two, its a house that was converted into a hotel. You booked a NON REFUNDABLE Expedia collect room rate so don't be dishonest in your review because you're unable to get refund.

Loved that it's away from the hustle of the town, in the cool hills. Nice nature view and the view at nights is lovely. Had breakfast daily and it was tasty and presentable. The staff were all nice and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious I will definitely stay here again. The only hiccup was the internet being down for a lengthy time; the internet provider FLOW needs to do a better job!!

The staff was excellent. Room was very clean. There were minor issues but the staff dealt with them. Price is a little high for the area and the amenities. Road leading up to the hotel is deplorable, i almost thought i took the wrong road.

The view overlooking Mandeville, the capital, was magnificent. The room was clean; Staff was friendly; Breakfast was divine, a traditional Jamaican menu. The service was truly appreciated!!!

This is my 3rd stay. I like the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff. I didn't like that the water was barely warm and at times cold while taking a shower. The room had mold on walls and ceiling and a moldy smell.

Convenient Mandeville Hotel
Simple hotel. No food on site now due to COVID Easy access. Good security at night. Nice room, comfortable, spacious, nice view

On December 25, 2021 I booked my stay at the Mandeview Hotel The rooms are very old no Air conditioning you get a fan and you better pray that the breeze blow hard enough to keep you cool, when we stayed there the refrigerator in our room was broken The management did nothing I did a survey on Expedia and I was kicked out of the hotel on my second visit because the management did not like my review I was basically told that she could not accommodate me because of the things that I wrote about to Expedia . It seems as if she wanted me to lie that the place was great my wife found an open pack of roughrider condoms in the bedside table draw the rooms weren’t properly cleaned I did not speak about this in my last review because I would think that the management would resolve the issue I was disappointed that I have read so many complaints and the management did nothing to improve the quality of service at the Mandeview Hotel. ‘ Expedia how many more dissatisfied customers do you need before you do something to protect your clients” LOOK AT THE REVIEWS so many complaints about this place just look at the last 4 years. read the reviews Expedia what are you doing? Are going to ruin your good name for a place like this! Please protect your clients or you may lose them.

Mr Stephen Whyte It is very CURIOUS that you booked us a second time even after your first stay was " unpleasant" and we didn't deserve your money. Your MOTIVE for writing this review is therefore very QUESTIONABLE.

The property is lovely it has a very beautiful view of the valley, however parking space is very limited and very tight we had a refrigerator that did not work we reach out to management but was ignored there was no breakfast and in order for us to eat we would have to purchase food and take it back to the room so the food we have leftover was spoiled, as they did not replace the broken refrigerator. The price we paid for the room for two days after speaking to management we were told that we book a standard room and a standard room does not carry a refrigerator, besides on the Expedia website there was nothing about standard or non-standard rooms, We saw four rooms remaining and we book one out of the four I would not recommend this place for someone who is coming from the states because then it would be much of a culture shock besides there’s no signs to direct you to the property in order for us to find the hotel we were literally on a scavenger hunt.The sad part is my assignment Is incomplete which means I may have to go back to that area this coming weekend and I dread the fact that I may have to stay at that hotel for a second time and give them my money which I don’t think they deserve. There is one lady there that was nice her name is Crystal. I did reported to her that the refrigerator was broken she said she told her boss. after we checkout I spoke to the boss about my disappointment, she smiles and said you booked a standard room.

Mr. Stephen we are sorry a refrigerator made your stay an unpleasant one. the property is lovely the room was clean you slept well the staff was nice , and because you booked a room that doesn't come with a refrigerator & ROOM ONLY no meals, and we couldn't give you a fridge because we were fully booked we do not deserve the 124. 36 expedia paid us for two nights. Sad, we would like all who stay with us to have a good experience therefore you can reach out to Expedia and i will refund the full amount.

Nice hotel with good view of the city and nice location. The driveway does need some repairs but other than that it’s a good place to stay
