The room was not what I thought Quality Inn stood for. The furniture was below thrift-store caliber. The bathtub had been painted over where mold had been. Holes in the drapes. Paper coming off the ceiling. Toilet seats almost off. Pillows were like stuffed balls inside them. We would have left but graduation in the city meant no rooms available.

Do not stay here unless it is your last resort... rented 2 rooms. Filthy gross bothroom, bathroom so unsanitary and dirty, ac vent and curtain above it full of mold. Just gross nasty, would never recommend or stay here again. Wish i could post pictures, cuz seeing is believing.

The evening staff (8:00 PM check in) was not very welcoming. Our key cards shut off two hours prior to check out time and the person on duty was unable to reset them. The bathroom was dusty and had dirty in the corners of the floor. The housekeeping staff was kind and helpful.

Can't say that we liked anything about this property. Furniture in need of repair or replacement. Bathrooms need deep cleaning. Water damage on the ceiling. Outlets on lamps do not work, no place to charge a device. One of our rooms smelled of cat urine. Doors are warped. MN dept of health should be contacted.

From the minute we pulled up to this hotel, we knew we made a mistake. It only got worse as we stayed the night. Every part of this hotel is dirty. You first walk in the lobby and no one is behind the desk. There’s a phone you need to pick up to call the desk, which was black due to being dirty and literally looks like it’s never been wiped ever. Hand sanitizer station at the desk also not cleaned before so there’s a brown grease like substance where the dispenser is. Took a while for front desk to appear to check us in. Terrible customer service by person at the desk. Both rooms we are staying in were filthy, no surface wiped down, layer of dust everywhere, stains on beds, walls, moldy bathroom, ceiling falling apart, broken toilet paper holders, body hair in the sheets. my parents asked for their sheets to be changed specifically due to the stains and pubic hair, took two times asking and getting angry to finally get them changed. No apology from anyone here. Filthy throughout the rest of the hotel. At night, there was also a baby crying for long extended times in the STORAGE ROOM at the end of the 2nd floor. This hotel is NOT worth $200. That is a joke. It’s a run down motel that should be $50-$99 p/n like all the rest. We will never ever return to this hotel for any reason whatsoever. The family we have already spoken too who have also seen the hotel physically and via pictures, will make sure they never stay at the Quality Inn & Suites Mankato as well.

Building dated on outside and you can see from the parking lot a room with mattresses leaning against window. First thing you see when entering hotel is a dirty phone used to contact staff not at desk. The office desk with computer in the lobby next to dirty phone has a leather seat that is cracked and peeling. Our room had a broken and rusted door frame in bathroom that is missing two inches of lower part of door, broken toilet paper holder, mold around tub on floor, no drain plug in tub, used toiletrie bottles, mold on ceiling, leather chair and leather desk chair have cracked and peeled seats, popcorn texture coming off ceiling from a previous water leak upstairs (it wasn't fixed or patched, just painted over in paint that doesn't match rest of ceiling, the fire sprinkler system is rusted, pulled bedspread back and found pubic hair on sheets, outlets are bad in room, bedspread is stained, disintegrating curtains, and tables with a layer of dust. I have pictures of it all. Not worth $186 a night.

Turned up to 2 young kids at the desk and no adult for way too long (someone called police they and been alone that long). Kids were handing out random room keys. Got to the room eventually and it was dirty and the bar lock was broken. Breakfast was minimal and tasted plastic. Avoid.

It’s my first time staying a quality hotel. They’re actually quite nicer than I thought it was a last-minute reservation for work. The only thing is that the janitor was not friendly. I woke up a little late. He kept knocking the door. I told him I woke up late. I’ll finish up fast and he keeps saying the check out was 11 and that was 1120a lol to be fair I understand it was late Cut me some slacks because I literally got off work 5 AM and I checked it at the hotel almost 8 PM when I reserved it at 7 PM. Everything was last minute. I said I understand but I woke up late. I’ll finish as quick as possible, he did not engaged or say anything he walked away. Overall everything was good.

This Motel was not CLEAN, bed was just springy mattress. Cobwebs in corners of walls, lamp didnt work, curtain wouldn't close for privacy, and only gave us 1 towel each and 2 handtowels. Said we could have a room upstairs for 20$ extra dollar, i laughed at them and said i didn't even want to pay what i did for such a dirty room and uncomfortable bed. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

The vents in the pool area were brown from dirt and dust. Also vent fins were misshapened. Had trouble figuring out the shower - no visible handle to pull. No plug for the tub if I wanted to take a bath. Couldn't close the drapes to block out the outdoor light from hotel next door or to close for privacy from the hotel parking lot next door. Can't say I would want to stay there again.

Called ahead to reserve a roll away bed for the grandson. "Of coarse we will put it in the room" They gave it to another party without asking! The pool room was 65 degrees and the pool about 70 What A Bunch Of CRAP Never again will we stay there and maybe Not in a Quality Inn and Suites anywhere we travel VERY VERY DISAPOINTED

It was a quiet hotel but I was supposed to get a free smoke room and it reeked! Plus I got charged twice for the room! The gentleman brushed me off by saying he was gonna talk to manager and not to worry so I asked again when should I expect my money back and he said tonight so don't worry about it. Didnt receive it until 48 hours later. Will not be staying there again

Last resort !
Hotel is in dire need of a redo/make over, walls are damaged, carpet is damaged, mold in bathrooms, rusted doors, damaged furniture, broken tiles in pool room. Very low budget hotel. Gives the branch name a very poor review !

There wasnt anything to like about this place.. room was so dirty, towels were on there last leg and falling apart. No towels in pool area. When asked the front desk it was an inconvenience to them and was told, they were in the dryer. No spot on site to buy anyrhing to drink or eat unless you have cash..

I booked this on Expedia & if I would have walked in the door, I would have walked right out. The "front door" isn't even part of the structure. As we were walking up the steps to get to our room, we saw a NO smoking sign but the smell in the hallway told a different story. It was very clear that there WAS smoking. The room was less than inviting as the mix match colors of 3 different walls. The furniture had holes in it, the refrigerator had a very piculular smell in it. The phone on the bedside looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years. The bathroom faucet, spit water. I have stayed at many different hotels that have a 2 star rating. I didn't feel like the staff was horrible but it was obvious the few I did see were definitely the only workers running the whole building. It was very apparent that all fixing of anything broken was fixed in the least amount of cost as possible. The cost to stay there was not worth saving a few extra $.

The eggs and sausage were lukewarm and the eggs were watery. The bathroom commode water ran continently. I informed management about the water running continently too. All-in All it worked out fine for my short funeral stay! The staff was very friendly!

There were empty bottles behind the dresser on arrival and discarded items from the previous guest. We kept hearing a gurgling sound, then in the middle of the night, sewer water dripped through the vent and flooded the bathroom and seeped out into the room to soak the carpet. It was totally gross and unacceptable! We had to call the attendant because no one was at the desk or on site. They said they'd have a manager call us, but still haven't heard back. The only good thing about the property was that the hot tub was actually warm (101 degrees) and actually worked.

Lobby area was very cheerful and friendly My room was rusty and dusty and had dirty mirrors ~ no Kleenex ~ either too hot or too cold ~ hard to find happy medium ~ wanted to utilize the pool and hot tub but at 56 and not in great shape I was put at the far end of the hotel and on the 2nd floor 😩 so I simply stayed in my room by myself until morning

In room 116 the lamp shade on the desk was damaged, the privacy curtain on the window was bubbled from the heating unit under it, the broken toilet tank had been fixed although looked messy from the adhesive/apoxy used, slight rust on the shower drain. The positive fairly decent breakfast, the staff was readily available when you used the phone on the desk to page them, was responsive when I had to ask for more pool towel. I think I would pay the extra $20/30 to stay somewhere else that had the same amentities (pool/whirlpool)

Staff barely said hello and hidden behind weird shields. What looks like poop on entry floor. Toilet in room not connected to floor, cracked toilet top and shower head, cigarettes burns on comforter and rips in light shades. Pool is disguising- broken vents, missing tiles, dirty and ladders flimsy, rusting. Whole space has a bad smell covered by worse deodorant. If we had any options we would leave right now
