« The hotel is very dated. The staff are very friendly. It was quite clean but being a Towncenter hotel it was extremely noisy through the night into the early hours of the morning and then to cap it off workmen started work on the McDonald’s opposite at 6 am in the morning, so I’m not a great night sleep. »

« Nice hotel, not plush but clean, warm, great shower and very convenient location, straight opposite train station and only a short walk to the centre of Halifax. »

« Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early. »

« First time at this hotel. Would stay again. The hotel is beside the M62 we were in a room other side of hotel and didn’t hear the motorway at all. The room was big and clean. Bed comfortable. Tea & Coffee in room and a great little dressing table area. The hotel shares the car park with the Nags Head (which is a lovely pub great food) it’s also near a good Italians Da Sandro and Toby Carvery. Easy to get into town Huddersfield or Halifax. Good value for money »
