We loved staying at the treehouse! The staff were friendly and the host was very responsive. There was a t-storm warning in the area so we had concerns about safety but they were reassuring to us and said that should we feel unsafe they had alternative temporary accommodations available. Luckily the weather stayed nice so we didn't have to move around. They have basic kitchen stuff (dishes, eating and cooking utensils, knives) and a stove but bring a pot or pan if you plan on cooking inside too. The upstairs bedroom got a little hot but luckily we brought a box fan that we positioned on the bottom floor to blow air upwards that quickly cooled off the top beds. Even though it rained recently there weren't as many mosquitoes which was great. If you have kids or dogs there were many red poisonous mushrooms growing around the picnic area so just be careful. The only thing we wish they had was an EV charger or at least a 220- or 110-volt outlet next to the parking space so we can charge the car overnight. Being located near the main attractions is great, including the ferry you can take on the Ohio River to get to Kentucky and shop at the Amish stores. We plan on visiting again.
