„The cottage was from a Hallmark movie. The owner Chad remodeled this nearly century old river front cottage to include all the modern conveniences you’ll need while maintaining the charm. Chad is a friendly and generous host and was always available. The cottage is in the side yard of their home but they were completely unobtrusive during the entirety of our stay. “

„We are from ID/MT. We moved to the OR coast for jobs and family. We really missed the mountains and river activities. Everyone from Portland pours into our town in Summer and we lock ourselves in by 3pm on the the 4th. I wanted to do the opposite! Go inland to a river house. Our dog is so scared of fireworks and it is a war zone at home. We were alone peaceful and our baby girl cattle dog was at peace. Outstanding character history and river access! “

Location short walk to beach, front deck a great place to sip some coffee and enjoy sunrise, wraps to side deck with hot water tap for the outside shower made cleaning off the sand easy. "Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und der Frühstücksraum ist auch wunderbar mit Blick auf das Wasser. Manche Tische stehen direkt an den Fenstern. Auswahl passt gut, Eier werden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet und das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr nett. Das gesamte Hotel und die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, allerdings merkt man doch schon etwas die Jahre .... teilweise sind am Gang zB Teppiche aufgerissen und das ganze Hotel wirkt etwas, als hätte es die besten Zeiten schon hinter sich. Hoffentlich wird hier etwas unternommen, denn das Hotel liegt sehr schön und auch ruhig und die Lage des Frühstücksraums ist eine der schönsten in einem Hotel. Das bezahlt man natürlich auch mit den etwas höheren Preisen, und daher sollte man sich auch um den Rest etwas besser kümmern. Sonst aber zu empfehlen!"
