The property manager was friendly and helpful. When reading this rating this keep in mind it’s renting at less than average rates for this type of house. Also I had a beach rental house and I wanted feedback so I give more feedback than most people.The good- we liked the location, close to restaurants, on a canal with direct access to the bay. Beds were comfortable. Sofas were a little older but clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked, grill works. Overall it was clean but some things are worn. Fenced yard was great for our dog. Can’t hear planes inside, you can outside which we like We had a few issues- smoke detector battery alert at 2am & batteries were well hidden , annoying high whining sound that we tracked to plumbing in hall bathroom, stumped plumbers at first but eventually they fixed it. Some things could be improved- sheer curtains on master bedroom let in first am light(we covered them with extra sheets), no lamps except in master bedroom and overhead lights are bright, lots of great bath towels but one washcloth and one hand towel. The rug is showing wear and discoloration. The glass coffee table wobbles I was afraid to let grandkids lean on it to do puzzles. The deck off the master is aged with some sketchy boards and the fan is deteriorating (not safe to use) but the tiki bar is great. Lots of patio chairs. So it needs some tlc but for the price it’s worth staying there. I also suspect the manager will address some of the issues I mentioned above.
