"Dieses Hotel liegt am wunderschönen Lake Tahoe. Direkt gegenüber ist über eine Ampel ein kleiner Strand erreichbar. Wer an den Lake Tahoe fährt, muss wissen, dass die Preise dort irre sind. Dafür ist dieses Hotel noch relativ günstig. Die Straße zwischen Hotel und See ist wahnsinnig laut- immer. Tag und Nacht. Das hatten wir schon gelesen und nahmen es bei der Buchung in Kauf. Was enttäuschend war: das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichboden- auch das ist in USA oft Standard. Im Kühlschrank waren die Ablage- Fächer rausgebrochen- das war nervig, weil man kaum was verstauen konnte, ohne dass bei jedem öffnen was raus fiel. In dem sehr schönen Garten ums Haus hätte ich mir ein paar bequemere Sitzmöbel gewünscht, wo man schön essen kann, denn Möglichkeiten für Restaurants und Supermarkt gibt es viele in der Nähe. Also Fazit: für den Preis wäre ein Update in Sachen Renovierung unbedingt angebracht. Unbedingt ein Zimmer nach hinten nehmen bzw. Im hinteren Gebäude. Sonst muss man in Kauf nehmen, dass man das Fenster nicht öffnen kann."

"Kostenlose Parkplätze an der Unterkunft. An der Trailfolk Bar empfehle ich Frühstück zu bestellen. Abendessens konnte man auch in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem Touristenort, wo es zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants gibt. Man erhält einen Voucher für einen Zugang zum Strand. Es gibt auch freie Strände (z. B. Nevada Beach) die mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen."
