Great condo with stunning views

We just completed our stay in mid June and absolutely loved it. I have a family of four with two daughters that are nine and eleven and we fit perfectly. It was our first time in Wolf laurel, and it really is a little gem in the mountain. We played a little basketball, tennis, fished in the pond, and did some hiking up to bald mountain. We also traveled back-and-forth to Asheville several times to enjoy Some summer activities. The host Sabrina was super sweet and a great communicator. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for sharing your home.

Extended weekend fall getaway

Our only regret is that we had so much planned in surrounding areas over our 4-day stay that we didn't have time to explore Wolf Laurel properly. We did manage to squeeze in a hike to Big Bald on our check-out day & it was amazing! The property manager was very helpful & answered all questions we had. The unit was very clean & just as described/pictured. I have to mention that google maps brought us home one night via the back gate which is opened via code only, so we had to reroute. This was not a major deal, just want other visitors to be aware this could be an issue & that there is limited cell service on some of the nearby roads. Overall, we had a fantastic trip & would rent this unit again.

Cozy with a view

The condo is very cozy and the private balcony is terrific. The view is spectacular and the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or do some stargazing in the evening. Everything is clean and tidy and the king size bed is very comfortable. Make sure to do some shopping before you get to Wolf Laurel because there is not a grocery store in the direct vicinity, but once you get to the condo the kitchen is appointed well and you can do all the cooking you care to. Whether a weekend or a week, it's a perfect getaway.

I Would Happily Retire Here

The condo was immaculate, charming, soothing, and very relaxing. I adored the gas fireplace and the huge back deck. The views from the deck are as amazing as they are in the pictures. I found the place quite easily. And was thrilled to find out it was a first floor condo so I didn’t have to lug my luggage upstairs. The king size bed was supremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything one could want. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return again just to hang out on the back deck for a wee, reading away. I stopped at the Publix in Weaverville enroute from the airport and picked up my groceries before I arrived.

Fantastic Views!

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning, particularly the sunrises. The condo is very well maintained, updated with new furniture and is very comfortable. The owner made sure we had all of the information we needed for a great stay. I would highly recommend staying here and hope we are able to come back again soon.

Peaceful & Thoughtful - Excellent Experience

Our stay was amazing. The place itself had everything you’d need for a peaceful getaway, and the view was to die for. You could tell how thoughtful the host was; the little things were all there. Not too far from Asheville and the perfect little getaway. Loved it.

Family get-away.

We came up late on Friday and left early the following Monday. Perfect amount of starter provisions for a long weekend. Condo was very clean and cozy. The Furniture was comfy and there was enough for everyone. My kids loved the pull out couch bed. The view is worth it all. The porch is large and we spent lots of our time out there. Bring whatever food you think you will need to cook and for snacks. The closest anything is a BP General store that has limited things and it's 20 min one way. There are family friendly trails within a shirt drive inside the community. We loved the Big Bald trail. Go early and beat the crowd. The Waterfall trail was amazing as well. The Host was very quick with suggestions and any advice she had. We will be returning again.

Wonderful views

Nicely furnished cozy condo with fantastic views! Nice gas fireplace for the cool evenings. Kitchen adequately equipped, nicely furnished. Easy to find and access. Sad part was when on the porch, with the view, there was an overwhelming smell of moth balls... maybe under the deck for some reason. Missed that fresh mountain air. I would visit again.

Amazing Views!

We would definitely love to stay here again! The views are breathtaking, right from the balcony. We absolutely loved the hiking, the views, pool and the playground. Some things to remember if you come are toilet paper (1 role is provided), the brand of coffee you like (Folgers is provided), and food to cook since the restaurant is only available to renters whose owners are members of the country club. I think you’re able to get pizza on the property though. The hiking trail that connects to the property goes up to a bald where the views are amazing and it connects to the Appalachian Trail. We put 2 kids under 2 in our hiking backpacks and it was a doable hike and worth the views!

Beautiful mountains view

Beautiful view. Condo has everything. The owner have thought about every single detail. There is many trails that lead to the Appalachian trails from Wolf Laurel. The community itself is beautiful. It definitely a great get away. I can't wait to be back.

Relaxing Getaway

This is a nice property. The bed and couches are comfortable. The kitchen and bath are a bit outdated and the kitchen is not well appointed (they did provide coffee and they had a few spices). But it was a beautiful view and relaxing!!!!

Perfect location and great view!

Only a mile from Wolf Ridge Ski Mountain makes this a great spot to stay for a long weekend. Also, about 45 minutes to Asheville with all it has to offer, including incredible dining. The condo was clean and very comfortable. The host was totally responsive. Highly recommend!

In the Shadow of Big Bald

We enjoyed our stay enormously. Not only was the view from the porch as beautiful as shown in the photos, but the condo is within walking distance of the Appalachian Trail and the high ridge line separating NC and TN. It was an incredible experience to be able to walk out of the condo and catch the AT up to Big Bald at 5,500 feet elevation. Wolf Laurel is a remote and beautiful area. Sabrina's communication, flexibility and service were top-rate professional; she both responded to questions/minor issues immediately and gave us all the space we needed. The condo was easy to find, in excellent condition, and neat and clean. We would certainly stay again!!

Wonderful place to enjoy the sites!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. It really does have amazing views of the mountains and is very peaceful and relaxing. It was very clean, communication with the property owner was excellent, and the location is not too far to enjoy doing things in the city of Asheville also. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay at this location again in the future.

Wife’s 50th birthday

Sabrina was wonderful in communication, professionalism, and courtesy. The property was pristine and the view was unmatched. I would recommend this place and Sabrina to anyone looking for a place to unwind and destress. Security was friendly and having a gated community gave us peace of mind. Easy to find and close to Asheville. Love to stay here again soon.
