« Superbe chalet très près de la mer. Fenestration et grande galerie qui permettent de profiter de la vue de la mer et ce, même par temps de pluie. Visite faite avec 2 chiens de grande taille, chalet parfait pour eux également. Seul hic c’est qu’il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à Jonesport, plus proche épicerie à 22 minutes d’auto. Très propre et très beau chalet! »

« This was a return visit for us. Lovely, spacious, well-appointed home in a very private, quiet location. It is a great home base for exploring the area - Cutler, Lubec, Campobello, Eastport, Cobscook Bay, Schoodic Point. Lots of hiking trails for all abilities with stunning scenery. Machias is convenient for restaurants and food shopping, gas stations, etc. The owner and the property manager are terrific & very helpful. Highly recommend! »

« This was a great home and location for our first visit to Maine. Easy drive to Lubec, Calais, Eastport, Machiasport and many other locations. As wonderful as the photos and description may be, it is actually better! Lots of attention to the small things that make traveling easier. And as many others have said, sitting on the porch was very relaxing. Communication with Lucas was easy and prompt and without a doubt I would stay here again and highly recommend. »

« We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning. »

« It is a lovely home very close to schoodic and not too far from the rest of Acadia - a bit over an hour and an eazy drive that. Most importantly everything was very clean and very comfortable. Check in was very simple and the host was great about communication. As a bonus we also had the best stargazing at night!! »

« Extraordinary views of beautiful and historic Moosebec Reach on coastal Downeast Maine as seen from a fully furnished Victorian setting. Convenient to everything the town has to offer from an abundance of lobster pounds, fresh harvested mussels to a general store and public library all within walking distance. A pleasant and affordable setting with an attentive host. »

« We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. « The house is a Ranch with numerous doors and windows allowing access to the outdoors from every point. An enclosed, screened in sun room on the main level & a spacious lower-level deck allow for great views, catching some rays and an evening cocktail. There is also an electric winch for launching & retrieving kayaks and canoes.For anyone who is mobility impaired, the house is easily accessed by an outside ramp. The main floor bedroom & handicap shower provide great space & is directly accessible...

« Our favorite place to stay in Maine! Family friendly, easy check in, attentive host, stunning views, comfortable beds, thoughtful accomodations. We love the Maine themed books and kids toys. Great location near a campground - we walked out to the point each night to collect shells and enjoy the sunset. Close enough to Jonesport but far enough away to feel secluded. We enjoyed the fire pit several times as well. We love it here! »

« The property was absolutely stunning! We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Roques Bluff. It was a great central point to visit family and friends in Machias, Dennysville, St Andrews and Machiasport! We will definately be back ;-) Thanks to Dan and Christina. »

« PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

« This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. Wish we stayed longer, thank you so much for an amazing/unique stay!! »

« The property was clean and airy and quiet. The kitchen and bath had everything you could possibly need. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. »

« A clean charming place on the water with great sunset views. It was 30 minutes to a wonderful hike on Western head preserve, 15 minutes to a self guided far tour, and 5 minutes to Jasper Beach. »
