« This is a magical cottage. It exceeded our expectation on charm, grounds, and convenience to downtown Middleburg. Tim, our host, was very accessible and thought of all of our needs. My husband and I will definitely be back but if you want a wonderful, historic experience with all of the modern amenities, look no further. Absolutely beautiful! »

« We enjoyed our stay and certainly return. Our group was 2 couples and 2 children.Everyone had enough space to be comfortable. The view is beautiful so we enjoyed our time at the house. While in the area, we visited Skyline Caverns and the Shenandoah River. I did have a challenging time getting Door Dash to the house. « The location was absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed, and the house itself was just as lovely. Everything was clean, peaceful, and true to the photos.
Unfortunately, the host experience wasn’t as positive. She lives next door and sent additional rules at the last minute, then seemed to scrutinize us throughout the stay. I’m 28, and she made a comment about my age that gave the impression she was uncomfortable with younger guests. It was disappointing because we...
