The house is nice and clean

The house is nice and clean. The only complain is that the toilet on the first floor had a "out of order" sign on. It was not fixed during our stay. Fortunately, this house has 3 other bath rooms.

Great family place

I stayed the long weekend with my family. They were very easy to get ahold of. It was very clean and comfy. The neighborhood was nice and quiet with lots to do nearby. Our son and his friend loved walking down to the pond to fish and hangout. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Cape Getaway

Birch Grove had plenty of space for the whole family and our dog. It's a great space that allowed us to watch moves and play games together but also let everyone spread out for some alone time. The fenced in yard was great for the dog and the neighborhood with the beach at the end of the street was perfect.

Great peaceful place.

The house was clean, very spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom was so luxurious with a great bathtub for soaking under the stars. The location was also perfect for beaches, shopping at the commons and bike riding. There's a nice lake right by the house that was perfect for kayaking or a morning cup of coffee. I went in the fall when the weather was perfect, the crowds were gone and parking at the beach was a breeze. Dogs are also permitted on the beach after Labor Day. I had a wonderful stay and plan to return in the future.

Great place to stay

Centrally located. 2 great towns and beach 20 minutes away. Clear lake you can swim in. House clean, able to check in early. Front yard needed to be mowed and resolved with one phone call. This house has so many places to sleep! I had a hard time working oven but otherwise kitchen had everything.

A Beautiful Home in a Quiet Neighborhood

This a lovely home. Inside and outside living areas were sparkling clean. Everywhere you look, the home and furnishings looked brand new. The decor was tasteful and modern, fitting for a sea coast area. Everything we could want was supplied, beds in abundance, sheets, towels, LOTS of bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable areas to relax upstairs and down. The neighborhood homes were immaculate, the neighbors friendly and Mashpee pond was a short 3 minute walk down the street. All of us enjoyed our stay here very much.

Home was wonderful , Management needs work

The home was wonderful and exactly as advertised, We needed a couple of items fixed but the managment keeps telling you they will send someone and only did on the last day, the young man who showed up was great but wasn't able to fix the items ie, bulbs in vanity needed to be replaced in primary bedroom ( i was going to my son's wedding, really needed those lights) along with panel fell off the tub in primary bath and closet door off rack in primary bedroom, dining room legs were very loose on 3 chairs and auto drop coffee pot was cracked. front door push button code has to be pushed about 3 times b4 it goes through. Loved the house I would stay here again but would want these items fixed

Unsatisfactory

We were extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service provided for this rental. The poor service was shocking since we have rented multiple Vacasa managed properties in other states and have never had a bad experience. Upon arrival, the door code did not work. It took Vacasa over an hour to respond to us and the suggestion was “just keep trying the code”. This was fun after a 7-hour drive. They finally gave us the passcode to retrieve the key. The next day, someone came out to reset the code (the original one didn’t work for him either). After resetting the code and changing the batteries,it stopped working again the next day. The lockbox obviously needs to be replaced, as other reviews have mentioned this. Once inside, the place was marginally clean, although the kitchen needs a deep cleaning as the counters, cabinets and stove are thick with grease. There were cobwebs in multiple rooms of the house. The first-floor powder room was unusable. There were other bathrooms, but we paid for a main floor w/powder room. Speaking of which, on day three of our trip, a man randomly showed up to fix the light bulbs in the unusable bathroom, as we were walking out the door to go to dinner. We had to wait, and he even asked if we had a stool he could use. We don’t own the house, and we did not bring a stool from Pennsylvania. The trash was overflowing, we brought this to Vacassa’s attention they let us know trash days are Tues. & Sat. There is more but I have limited space.

A few hiccups but still a lovely stay

Our family of 5 and dog had a lovely time staying at this home. The location is great and the home décor is beautiful. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. We had an issue during our stay with the ice maker leaking all over the kitchen floor and creating a dangerous wet tile situation. Luckily our daughter found it and let us know so no one slipped on the wet tile. We contacted VACASA and they came by right away. They weren't able to do anything and said it needed replacing. We shut it off and it didn't leak again. We let them know that the gate was hanging on by a thread and they said they'd note it. So beware of the ice maker & gate. Some nitpicky feedback: The home was not as stocked as we're used to in VRBOs; especially the kitchen. We'd love to see measuring cups & spoons added along with a strainer and more plates so guests don't have to wash dishes so often. One towel, hand towel & wash cloth per person wasn't enough. We had to do laundry a few times during our stay to have clean towels. There were several light bulbs missing too, so 5 of the inside lights weren't working. The outside trash & recycle bins were full when we arrived and did not get picked up during our stay - the smell was quite strong. We're assuming these are all kinks that will be worked out eventually as this is a new rental. While these issues did not significantly detract from our stay, they were surprising given the higher price point of this home. We'd still recommend the home. It was beautiful and with the few tweaks mentioned above it would have been perfect.

This home was cleaner than the first home we rented, however, that’s not saying very much. While my cleaning fee was refunded and we were allowed to change homes, the houses pictured online are very misleading. The house was very worn and not clean. Floors unswept, master shower broken in pieces and freezer drawer was broken, so it was constantly leaking water on the floor. Over all very disappointed in rental for the money we spent.
