Hotel Mayetta

« Aside from the one young lady that checked us in and wasn’t very helpful, the rest of the stay was great. The courtyard is beautiful and offers the best place to relax. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the amenities were abundant. We had the brunch buffet the two days we were there and the staff and food was excellent both times. We will be back to stay again. »

« When traveling with a pet, pet room smelt like urine and found stains on furniture from I cleaned urine marks. Was almost not able to sleep due to the smell »

« I was kicked off the property because my ride from Topeka was late, I have a prosthetic leg and it took me a while to get it on and move my belongings to the Casey's next door, and they stood there until I was done moving my stuff and after I moved they still continued staring at me and when asked if I was off their property they didn't respond, I'd never had a problem until my ride was late. « I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. ...

« Great breakfast. Tables cleaned when vacated. Staff was welcoming. Lots of parking Only knock is the shower had a bit of pink mold around the shampoo dispensers like it hadn’t been sanitized in a while. Enjoyed our stay. »

« It was easy to find, right near the interstate. The staff was great! Very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent... the best i have had almost anywhere. The Eggs were fresh eggs, not scrambled egg mix. Everything was fully stocked up until end of breakfast time. If there were people in dining area, there was plenty of food available! Room was quiet and stayed cool easily even when it was very hot outside. I would stay there again! »

« I arrived tired and was directed to a side door for entrance. The room key did not open the exterior door, so I had to drag my luggage back to the main desk. The clerk did not issue a new key, assuring me that my room would open. It did not. I went back to get a new key and slid into my bed too tired to look for dinner. The clerk should have issued a new key immediately. »

« The property was very conveniently located. The cost for two bedrooms and a full kitchen could not be matched. Only downside was a decent amount of street noise, and it was lacking blackout curtains, but having stayed in many Topeka hotels, I’d chose this over them every time. »
