The room itself appeared clean but the facility is in very poor condition. No amenities ( not even ice). Survivable but not worth $100.00

Hi Edward, thank you for staying with us. We realize the ice machine was broken during your stay and we are installing individual ice machines in each room. Please realize it is a roadside motel built in the 1960s, so no we have no ammenities, but we do provide clean, updated rooms at a reasonable rate! (All below 85 a night)

Clean but aged. Attempted to book...delayed would not accept payment at first, then finally was able to book but at a higher price as it went up immediately upon booking. When called the hotel, staff stated that it was fees imposed by Hotels.com. Not much in choices at this location for dining. Very overrated but ok for an overnight stay.

The Motel was clean and the bed was Okay. The walls are very thin so everything could be herd from the outside. The bath room and shower was tiny, therefore, no where to set anything. For the price, I had a lot better. Ceaniness is the most important and it was clean.

It was sufficient for a one night stay. Large room. Very old motel. Bed comfortable. Nice and quiet.

Way better than I expected it to be
I am an insurance adjuster that had to go to that area for work for a few days and this was the only affordable hotel available. I didn’t expect much because the pictures aren’t great online. When I pulled up, I was greeted by the maintenance man and he told me the check in process, which is contactless which was cool. I was assigned my room and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the AC on, my fault. The maintenance man was there within a minute to help me the room had a large mini fridge and microwave. There’s a Restaurant 50 feet away that’s open seven days a week. One of two in town. They give you a bunch of food for $12. The room was decently updated and the hotel. Overall, it was a whole lot nicer than I expected it to be. Is it a Hilton?, No it’s not and that’s what kind of makes it cool. There’s a Dollar General across the street which is also nice. Beautiful oak trees on the property. Large rooms, fans, decent value for sure. Probably will stay again in the next couple days.

Very clean, quiet , big rooms, simple and great amenities. Parkingcright outside room. Big windows. Water and showers great Lost power due to storm. Unavoidable. But overall stay was good. If need to would definitely stay again. And refer anyone coming to area. Thanks.

We couldn't stay there because it was not clean. The manager offer a different room and it was just as bad. I was disappointed since it looked nice on the site. I had to go down the Interstate and get a room for the night. The manager at Cindy's place assured me she would reverse the charges through Expedia and we would get money back.

A buddy and I stayed here because of a retirement party we were attending was close by. We basically dropped our bags off and came back later to sleep. The lady in the office said she recently bought the place and is trying to update it.

Old-Florida Motel
A quaint old-Florida motel where there are few tourists. The bathroom is a tad small, but functional for us travelers. A hearty breakfast is right next door. I'd stay again if in the area.

While it feels like Cindy's Motel is out in the country, it's really not. There is a good little cafe in front of the property. My room was clean, and reasonably quiet. Breakfast is not served, but that wasn't an issue for me.

Al most perfect...
I was happy with everything, it was very clean, very quiet at night, a great fridge with separate freezer. The only thing I didn't appreciate is the AC window unit, it was brand new but the noise was deafening. It was cool so I stopped it. I would not come there in the summer.

The room was super clean and quiet there is an awesome little cafe (The Mayo Cafe) right in front of hotel that has good food and great service. Only problem was the hot water heater couldn’t handle the demand so husband didn’t get a hot shower.

Horrible Beds, hard as the floor, we had #8, stayed 2 days, barely got sleep. Towels policy awful, asked for towels for 2nd day of stay, treated like criminals, we had to return dirty towels to get clean ones. These are cheap towels too. Water pressure in shower trickles out, no water pressure. Toilet seat crooked on toilet. AC unit sticks out 6 or 7 inches from wall by bathroom. Bot husband and I hit our left shoulder walking out of bathroom. No cable tv. Channel selection poor. Would never stay here again.

I'm sorry that your stay was disappointing. The beds are generally one is firm and the other is soft. We have the best cable in this area. 38 channels, 2 premium and your room had a smart tv with additional 400 channels. The AC/Heat unit is slide mounted in the wall and when I checked it sticks out approximately 1 to 2 inches. Typically we clean the rooms every day. The towel policy is to remove the dirty and recieve clean, this is to ensure that towels do not walk away. The shower and toilet I will look into. Again I'm sorry about your terrible stay. Lovely little place with great staff
The place is lovely. The people here are so welcoming and friendly. I left my phone on the nightstand after check out and the gentleman who was working Saturday walked over to the diner where we were having breakfast and handed it to me. The room is good sized, bed and pillows are comfortable. I love the old Florida motels, and this will definitely be a place we will definitely come back to.

If you want to experience what accommodations were for travelers in the 50s and 60s when our grandparents journeyed to “Sunny Florida Cindy’s fills the bill. Plus The Mayo Cafe is just steps away.

Although it is a much older motel, it was clean and comfortable. A fantastic Mexican restaurant, Casa Frias was within walking distance for dinner and the Mayo Cafe, right in front was an excellent choice for breakfast.

Cute Motel in Old Florida Country
We enjoyed our stay. We went to FSU game and many hotels were full or very expensive. We found Cindy’s and though 1.5 hours away from FSU campus, we had a nice stay. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff and someone always on site. Rooms are a little older (it’s an old FL Motel) but they cleaned daily which is more than we have had at big Hotels. They also took the time to make my daughter’s bed nicely with her pillows and stuffed animals arranged! Very personable!

Like other people have said, this motel is a no frills place, but the room was very big, it was really clean and was just what we needed, the whole place had a nice relaxed feel, our host was very friendly and also gave us extra coffee!

Staff who checked me in was super nice. Had to leave due to many cockroaches in room. Too bad. It seemed clean, but 5 minutes in, cockroaches galore.
