3.5/5 really...First the not-so-good....mostly safety concerns. It's virtually impossible to take your pet out safely due to the terrain. Has one small gravel area that is flat if you can get your dog to go there...mine would not...otherwise it is treacherous. Driveway is difficult especially with bad weather. Need to have LOTS of driveway salt available. No street parking. Upstairs hall bath has two steps leading to it which are easy to miss because there is no and we had two people stumble toward the loft railing. Emailed prop mgr to ask owner to remedy this with some sort of stripping. Rock steps leading up to the main porch are also treacherous when wet/icy. Owner should invest in continuing the wooden staircase. Some maintenance items were emailed (I noticed one review from six months ago mentions the same problems - doorknob, stuck shower doors - so hopefully they get taken care of). Has a strong "wood" smell - if you have allergies to specific trees this might not be ideal. Would not recommend this property for anyone with balance/mobility issues or with small/older dogs. Now for the good...it is very spacious. The main living area is perfect for lots of people. Kitchen is large & well-stocked. The house was cleaned well & had handsoap, dishsoap, a scrubber, PTs and TP. Lots of hooks! A ton of storage for clothes and food. Close to the lifts. Great game room. Basement has separate heating which helps a lot in cold weather. Stunning view.
