« I wanted to love this place but was sadly disappointed. I appreciate the effort, some really cool furniture, the woods were beautiful. But the door didnt lock, i didn’t feel very secure sleeping there with kids. The composting toilet was not exactly what i was expecting…it WAS a composting toilet but essentially it was going into a garbage bag. The wood stove worked nicely but the wood burned very quick and went out as you sleep so unless you add it all night you wake up cold. The bed had a kids...

« The property was conveniently located at the north end of the Avenue of the Giants, so we were able to make our way from Mendocino up to this point for a night before returning back on the scenic route toward the coast and back down to Sonoma.Very conveniently located to restaurants, casino and micro brewery.We truly enjoyed our stay. »

« This was a lovely little place to stay. Close to town. It was very clean and seemed to have everything we wanted. I only complaint was the gates that you had to use to enter into the property. It’s a padlock with tiny tiny little numbers that I could barely see. I struggled for several minutes at a time to lock and unlock the gates. And the gate is super heavy. It would be really nice if they would put an electric gate in because me being elderly I had a very tough time with it. »
