« We stayed one night and didn’t even use the kitchen other than putting our food in the fridge but it was clean and big. The two bathrooms were stocked with enough supplies, the bedrooms were cozy, and I like that in the living room there were games and books. I didn’t realize the house was so close to the freeway which you can’t hear when the windows are closed but we got hot in our bedroom and opened the window and could hear the traffic in the mornin. « Welcoming host! Clean welcoming home with fabulous hot tub. I took the beach cruiser for miles and had coffee outside while the sun came in. Truly relaxing and amazing host! »

« Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »

« We absolutely loved the Secluded Forest Escape. The house is open, with tall ceilings and great views - it seems bigger than the photos. Everything is well-maintained, very clean, and well-provided. The location is indeed secluded, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there to explore the redwoods, which were a relatively short drive, both North and South, so the location worked-out great. »
