  • La grande maison de 2 370 pieds carrés est située sur 3 lots du ruisseau Hunter qui alimente le magnifique lac Silver et fait partie de la Silver Village Association. Il dispose de 4 chambres spacieuses, 1. 5 salles de bains, cuisine ouverte / salle à manger et salon et salle familiale. La grande terrasse à l'arrière fait face au ruisseau Hunter qui alimente le lac Silver. Meubles de terrasse et un gril à gaz pour manger et se prélasser à l'extérieur. Apportez votre kayak et / ou votre canoë et remontez le cours de Hunter's Creek qui se jette dans le magnifique lac Silver! Si vous n'avez pas de kayak ou de bateau, vous pouvez en louer un auprès du club The Wave. Nous sommes situés juste à côté du pont qui traverse Hunter's Creek. Juste une courte promenade sur le pont et un chemin de terre vous mènera à l'Assoc. piscine et aire de jeux. Idéalement situé à seulement 1,5 km de l’entrée de la dalle de sable ORV Silver Lake Sand et à seulement 3 km des plages du lac Michigan; à proximité de toutes les activités amusantes offertes par Silver Lake et sur trois terrains pour offrir une vie privée. Après une journée bien remplie sur les dunes et / ou au lac Michigan, détendez-vous au coin du feu devant un feu de camp et assurez-vous d'apporter votre appareil photo pour capturer nos magnifiques couchers de soleil. "This Is Our Happy Place" est un lieu où les familles, les couples et les amis peuvent se faire des souvenirs inoubliables. My family returned to this beautiful home for a second time. We love it! The location is peaceful and private, yet still very close to restaurants and entertainment. The house is always very clean and the host is lovely, very communicative and kind. We will definitely stay again soon!

The house was even better than advertised! We had so much space and we all slept great. The kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the neighborhood park and pool and the proximity to activities like Craig's Cruisers was an added bonus. We would love to stay here again and make it a yearly tradition.

Nice location. Still close to all downtown attraction 7-10min walk, community pool. Set back off the street and away from most of the noise. Nice beds, and great host. Rebooked for next year.

Another GREAT Stay!

We have been lucky enough to stay at Mindy's house a couple of times now. The house and property are very large and accommodating of a large group or family. The owner (Mindy) is exceptional in her communication and co-ordination of making your stay worry free. We look forward to yet another return trip next year.

4th of July 2025

Great location! A short walk to watch the Fireworks over the dunes at the end of the street. Added amenities like the community pool and playground were great for our kids of all ages. Love all the seating/room accommodations for our extended family of 12 that fit great in the house. Mindy was very helpful when we arrived and easy to contact if we needed anything. Would love to come back to Silver Lake and stay here again!

Silver Lake Family Vacation 2022

Mindy, the owner, is very accommodating. Her home was very comfortable for our family of 7 adults and two small children . The decor is warm and cozy so we immediately felt at home. Good location too. Just off busy N. Shoreline Dr. but close enough to walk to shops and other attractions. Look forward to next stay.

Never Disappointed

Mindy is the best! We have stayed here numerous times and the house and Hostess are always delightful. They should have a 6th star for people and places like this one. Thanks again Mindy and we look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained and loved home. Nice cozy in and out, close to everything yet feels private. It's a large 4 BR home but only has 1 shower. My family had to take shifts 😂 but I wouldn't want to share with another couple. If you have a large family GO GO GO its very special

Perfect week!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Mindy’s home! The house was clean and beautiful. All the comforts of home and then some. We had a group of 4 adults and 6 children and we had plenty of room. The kids especially enjoyed the creek in the back yard and the short walk to the pool! We will definitely be doing it again next year. I highly recommend Mindy’s happy place!

Loved this house!

We had 8 adults and 2 kids….plenty of room for everyone! The beds were super comfortable. The furniture was super comfortable. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you’ll need. The front yard is huge and perfect for lawn games and squirt gun fights! We enjoyed the back deck and the kids liked trying to fish for the carp that came by at night. And the location is fantastic. Easy walk to the pool, Craig’s cruisers, and the lake. Easy drive to MacDunes, Pentwater and Ludington. Highly recommend this house!

Perfect placement

The house is situated far enough from town and off the road that it’s nice and quiet. Yet it’s close enough to town that a short walk or bike ride gets you there quickly. The house is very cozy, in the sense that it’s not a musty cottage. It’s nicely decorated and very well equipped. The kids loved that they could dunk our kayaks into the creek right out the back door of the house and off the deck. It was also a bonus to be able to use the garage to store our 9 bicycles while we were there. Mindy was very accommodating and a wonderful host!

I love this home :)

We felt very fortunate to get this reservation in the winter for our summer vacation this past week. The pictures and reviews were great so our expectations were quite high. I have to say though, they were greatly exceeded :) This house is spacious, beautifully kept up and has a great up north feel to it. ALL the amenities and necessities are there, the beds were sooo comfortable, the yard is great for any activity, the deck and fire pit are large and private. The location is perfect and the pool is fantastic, Laying in a hammock by the stream was a dream. Launching our kayaks right off the deck to head to Silver Lake was another bonus. I cannot say enough great things about this property and the owner Mindy. It was exactly what we had hoped for and much more. We usually go to Silver Lake every 3-4 years, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else now.

Spacious and homey stay!

We just left this home after staying a week with 6 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of room for everyone. The living area was spacious, open and clean and with a second living room we could all spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fridge was big enough. There was plenty of bed space but the bedrooms were a little warm. There was a full bath with shower and a half bath but no tub. Outside the yard was huge and the playground and firepit got plenty of use. There was ample seating outside. The back porch was large with good seating too. It was very picturesque with stairs leading down to the waterway. The pool is just a short walk but has limited hours. The dunes are a very quick drive and downtown is a short walk or drive. A lot of things within walking distance or a short drive. There was plenty of area for parking and having access to the garage for storage was a big plus for us. We loved it!

Family Vacation

Our military family drove from CA to Silver Lake to have a family vacation with my brother, his family, and my mom and dad. That is a total of 11 people and we all fit just fine. The property is just a few minute walk to the rides, restaurants, and of course, gorgeous Silver Lake. Yet, it is nestled into a quiet community with a nice community pool. Mindy is a super nice lady and very accommodating during our stay. We look forward to staying again really soon!

Our Happy Place is Happening

This property is at the center of all the activity! Walking distance to Silver Lake, community swimming pool and the main strip serving up food and family fun. This is our 2nd year staying at Our Happy Place and we truly enjoyed all it has to offer. Mindy is the absolute most welcoming and accommodating owner. We are already looking to book again next year.
